"Treasure Finds" & My New Little Cloche....

Hello my friends...and Happy Saturday! I just wanted to apologize for not posting all week...I've been so busy playing in my little Frenchy toile studio...the room is coming right along, by the way! I hope to post some about it this coming week!

Anyway, I just wanted to share one of my little "treasure finds" from my Valentines Day shopping trip. I found this little beauty at the antique shop and it was on sale...I only gave $3 for it (the pedestal plate & cloche)!!! Yeeeehawwww!!! I just couldn't resist...it's just too cute!!! The entire piece only measures 10 in. in height, including the pedestal plate. I placed it on my pretty Valentine tea towel that Melissa, from Melissa's Heart and Home, gave me! Isn't it sweet?

Just another photo with a different view. Hmmm...wonder what I can put under this pretty little cloche?

Well my friends...thanks for stopping by! I just didn't want you to think I had forgotten you...hehe!!! Have a wonderful weekend!!!
Love ya'll,
Chari

Well you need a mini frenchy girl bust for that litle cutie! *winks* Ok I went searching for ideas and I saw this...Now ignore the Halloween theme but how about cutouts of your grandbabies, maybe done in a similar style to this? http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_kryk-jb4o5o/SOGE40vc_3I/AAAAAAAABKk/Kx25DPTpfNU/s400/CSC_0980c.JPG I thought it was adorable! And then maybe a key to their little hearts *winks* I can't wait to see that new office of yours girlfriend! And I left a little blog award for ya over at my place...stop by if you get a chance. Love ya! Vanna

Love your new cloche. Don't ask me what to put under it. I'm having a mental block this week. I can't seem to get motivated to do anything & I sure as heck don't feel creative. Sorry I wasn't much help.

Wow Chari! Is that not the cutest thing! And you got such a deal! I was out antiquing and saw some darling little bird's nests complete with little blue eggs. I am envisioning that in your little cloche!! I finally found a cake stand that was cute and affordable. Now I'm in the market for a cloche, too. Yours is just perfect!! What a deal! Have a wonderful weekend...hugs...Debbie
