With Heartfelt Thanks....

Myspace Comments

Well my friends....today is "Day 14 of no smoking" for me! Each day I find it a bit easier, although I have to admit that it's still somewhat difficult for me to sit very long at the computer...strong habits are hard to break!!! I have really felt your prayers and well wishes...and I just can't tell you how encouraging it has been for me to read all of your comments!!! Each of you are God's angels sent to earth and sent to me specifically...I tell you!!! I have read through your comments more than once...each time gaining more strength to be successful and "smoke free"!!! I love all of you, my friends....and just wanted to take the time today to say "Thank You" to each of you...you all mean so very much to me and I just pray that the Lord blesses each of you abundantly!!!

Love ya'll....

Chari

I didn't even realize you had quit. Just last month, my uncle, who is 64-1/2 yrs old, quit smoking & drinking cold turkey. He has been a chain smoker & alcoholic for as long as I can remember, but after a week in the hospital, decided he didn't want to do it anymore. If he can do it, I know you can! He's using a patch. I never thought I would live long enough to see him stop one or both. There's always hope!

I am so proud of you!!! Before you know it you will be hating the smell of cigarette smoke and not even thinking about picking one up! I think those of us who were smokers are the worst when it comes to hating that smoke!!! And to think that it never affected us when we smoked!

Love ya!

Wow, Chari...I am impressed, girl! Several folks in my family smoke so I know this has to be reallly tough. If you've made it two weeks, I know you are going to do it! And just think how much healthier your lungs are looking every passing day. Smoking was what basically killed my Mom and significantly contributed to my brother's heart disease and subsequent death. All my life, I've witnessed all the people I love the most, destroying their health with cigarettes. You are giving those you love the most wonderful Christmas gift ever...YOU...for many more years to come. You Rock! Susan
