My Newest Treasure Find*

Three-Tiered Stackable Pedistal Plates

Last weekend I was able to go to Hobby Lobby! Yeeehawww!!! Well...you must understand, I live way out in "the sticks"...that means "country"...for you city folks! Hehe! The nearest Hobby Lobby is about 125 mls. away for me...so I really cherish my visits to this fabulous store!!!

Look what I found...3 tiered stackable pedistal plates! I found them in the Bridal section of Hobby Lobby and they were on sale...50% off! I only paid $14 for the entire set!!!

I have wanted this pretty stackable set for a very long time! I have great plans for it! It will make a beautiful centerpiece for a few upcoming tablescapes! The very first time I seen these stackable pedistal plates used as a table centerpiece was on HGTV's Rate My Space! A very talented tablescaper had used this set as her centerpiece for a Christmas tablescape. She added all kinds of beautiful Christmas ornaments to all three layers...it was gorgeous!
*

The pedistal plates are manufactured by Anchor Hocking. The largest plate measures 13in....the medium plate 10in. and the smallest plate 8in. When put together, they stand about 14 in. tall.

So there you have it...my newest little "treasure find"! Thank you for letting me show it to you today...and stay tuned for some upcoming tablescapes using this little beauty!!!

I'm so happy that you came by today! Please leave me a comment and let me know that you were here...I'd love to visit with you!!!

Love ya'll,
Chari

Hi Chari,
Those tiered stands are great! You'll find a lot of ways to use them, and maybe even to display cake every now and then!!
BTW - your tablescape is lovely, what a pretty dining room. Love the color on the walls, and the white buffet is gorgeous. I'm still looking for my own...sigh.
Hope you'll come by for a visit soon!

I am so sorry that I keep having to delete my comments. I am creating my shop blog and it is using that address. I am so low tech!
Anyway, I love the stacked plates - how smart to look in the wedding section!
And how excited I am that my headboard inspired you to get a mantel. I can't wait to see it.
That is such a compliment! Thanks much. Rhonda

Oh what a wonderful find. I love those too. I can't wait to see what all you can create with these. You always do the neatest displays. What a thrill to go to HL. I live about 15 miles away and I think that is far. You really do have to drive a long ways, but oh isn't it so worth the trip. Hugs, Marty

You’re going to have so much fun playing around with these pedestal plates! They are so versatile and I look forward to seeing all the different looks you come up with using them. I love Hobby Lobby and did the happy dance when one opened not far from me. After seeing what a great deal you got I just might have to wander over there this weekend.

Good to just hear from you!! We live in Canon City, 45 miles southwest of Co. Springs. I shop a lot in Co. Springs, which probably added to your confusion. Our son's surgery is scheduled for Nov. 3rd, and I'll probably be in Wiggins through the morning of Nov. 6th. So!!! If everything goes o.k. (weather, surgery, your health, etc. etc.), I could come to Sterling on Thursday, Nov. 5th to meet you for lunch. Keep it in mind; we'll play it by ear. My email is salmagundiss(at)yahoo (dot) com. Mike usually shoots the pistol for cross country meets, but last week he didn't because of the elbow. I think he said he was going to work the meet, though. Your paths probably crossed - amazing, huh? Mary and her husband, Bill, were here today from Walsenburg for lunch. We had such a great visit. Meeting fellow bloggers is a wonderful experience. Take care of yourself. Hopefully we can meet. Sally

Me again. I forgot to answer one of your questions - it's been a long, busy day - the brain is fried. Yes, I'm scheduled to go to Germany & France May 25, 2011. It's a long time away, but I'm already excited. I'm going with Mike when he takes students. Hope my old body holds up to keep up with those 16-18 year olds. I'm in training already!!! Sally

Hi!
I slipped over to Tablescapes Thursday last week and was back for more visits this week! What a great idea... I'm really enjoying everyone's creativity and talent! I love your tablescape with Antoinette. C'est magnifique!
Just as I got to the cleverly folded napkin, I said to myself... I should ask her how to do that ... and you added the link! Thanks!

We don't have a Hobby Lobby near us, but my daughter loves the new one that just opened in her area.

Have a lovely weekend and thanks again for all the great ideas!

It's so good to see and read about your latest excitement. I think "the legs" make "the three-tiered stackable pedistal plates" look interesting. You are a true bargain finder.

Hello dear Chari,
This is a great deal and what a neat idea to use it for centerpieces! I may have to borrow that idea! I am busy getting things done so we can leave for Phoenix on Early WED, my hobby lobby is about 50 miles away and I thought that was bad! I guess we're both out in the boonies! heehe! Love ya girl, have a good week-end, Cindy
