Weekend Getaway!!!
Car Show in Atwood, Kansas

Hello my friends! I just wanted to let you know that I'll be away for a few days.

Honey and I are going to a car show in Atwood, Kansas. It's an annual event and it will be our third year to go. It's alot of fun and we're really looking forward to just getting away for the weekend! My honey loves camaro's...he restores them for a hobby...so we'll be taking our 1971 RS Camaro to the show. Oooh, it's pretty...copper with black stripes...with a 5" cowl hood...and a tall spoiler! Ohhh yea...it's a BAD BOY! Honey will be racing it on Saturday afternoon!!!

New Camping Trailer...

We recently got a camping trailer and we'll be taking it this year to Atwood. I'm really looking forward to the camping experience! We'll not be "roughing it" by any means...our little camper has a bathroom! Thank the Lord! Hehe!!! I was really excited when we got the camper...OMG...it's like having another home to decorate! I was thinking shabby chic! When I told my honey this...you should have seen the look on his face! It was priceless!!! Hehe! After all...it does have a living area...a bedroom, a kitchen, and a bath...soooo my goodness...it's gonna need some decor!!! I'll have all weekend to think about it...and scheme!!!

Community Yard Sale

Okay...I just have to tell you that while I enjoy the car show... there is just one more itty-bitty little event going on at Atwood this weekend! They always have a community wide yard sale on the weekend of the car show! Yeeeeehawwww!!! Now we're talkin'! Hehe!

Ohhhh...I'm really excited (can you see me wiggling and rubbing my hands together in anticipation?) this will be my very first yard sale of the season! It's been a very lonnnnggg and cold winter here in Colorado and I'm ready for a yard sale!!! I told honey that it's a good thing that we're taking my truck (for the truck bed) and that we'll also have the camp trailer that I can load alllll my yard sale goodies into!!!!!! Once again, you should have seen the look on my honey's face...priceless!!! Hehe!!!

Anyway, I sure will miss ya'll while I'm gone! I wanted to leave you with some beautiful cottage garden photos!

Don't forget me...I'll be back!!!

I really do appreciate each and every one of you!!!

Your friendship has been such a blessing to me!!!

Each of you are like the beautiful flowers seen in these pretty cottage gardens. Each flower different...different shapes, different colors, and with different scents but each flower is special in it's own way...just like you!!!

Okay...before I get too weepy! I'm going to say goodbye for now! I'll be back some time Sunday evening and will talk to you soon!!!

Don't Forget About "Sunday Favorites"!!!

PS...Just want to let you know that we're still "on" for "Sunday Favorites"! I didn't want to miss it!

I've already prepared my post and it should publish Saturday at 4pm. Mr. Linky should be there...crossing my fingers that all will go well with it since I won't be here to check it out!

Ohhhh myyyy...an entire weekend without a TV...a phone...and a computer! What??? NO COMPUTER??? Eeeekks!!! Hmmm...maybe I am "roughing" it after all! Hehe!!!

Love ya'll,

I can't believe I'm up again reading blogs. I was sleeping and then got up and went right to my computer. Your note was so nice and I'm thinking that Kansas is getting closer to Wisc., I will have to look for car shows hehe. I love your description of decorating the travel trailer and hubbies expressions. Oh, that sounds so much like my hubbies! I'm giggling just thinking about it. My post tonight, that took me like 3 hours to figure out,(computer glitch) is partly about my big garage sale last week-end. I can't wait to see what you find my dear, have a great time! We might head to Madison,Wi this week-end for a little get-away too. This having my daughter home again is nice, but now I worry about when she is getting home again etc. That part isn't fun. Oh, and your pics are so pretty, I just love no.2. Now go have a wonderful weekend get-away! Hugs, Cindy

Hi Chari, it's so nice to meet you and visit your beautiful blog. I was attending Cupid's Charm's Beautiful Blogging party, but was very sick and had to have surgery before I could finish meeting all of the guests. I would love to know more about your camper. I want one soooo badly now that we have entered the empty nest phase of our lives. I just wanted to stop and introduce myself. I'm going to meander through your blog now. I hope you have a great weekend!
