2009 Christmas Highlights at Happy To Design
*
Hello my friends! Wow...it's almost time to ring in the New Year but before we do, I thought I would share a few of the 2009 Christmas highlights at Happy To Design!
*
It won't be long till all the Christmas decor will be packed away for another year! I must admit...I squeeze every minute and every bit of enjoyment out of Christmas that I can! Hehe! So before it's taken down and packed away...I would like to take you through one final tour of our Christmas home! There are quite a few photos...photos of my living room, dining room, and a few of my favorite Christmas vignettes! They are pretty self-explanatory...so I'll just let you enjoy the photos without being soooo wordy! I hope that you enjoy!!!

I just took these photos today! I don't believe that I've shared them with you before. This is an area in my kitchen where I sat up our "Hot Cocoa" station. I love my little snowman cocoa canister and cups!
*

*
The snowmen are three dimensional! See there little carrot noses sticking out...hehe!
*
Below is a close-up photo of my mercury glass Santa! He stands about 21 in. tall! He has such a beautiful face...and I love the bright colors of his suit and toys!!!
*

*
Well my friends...I'm so glad that you stopped by for a visit! I hope you enjoyed the 2009 Christmas tour of our home! Please leave me a comment and let me know that you were here...I would love to visit with you!!!
*
I'll see you in the New Year...

Everything looks beautiful Chari. When I take down my Christmas decor, I always feel that my house looks so dull. What a great idea to have a cocoa station for the holidays, and what a cute cocoa station you created. That Santa is beautiful! laurie

Hi Chari, Your Christmas decor is just beautiful! Love the little hot chocolate station, what a cute idea! Don't you hate to take everything down? I sure do...I put mine up late this year so don't feel like it should come down yet. Oh well...there's always next year. I hope you have a safe and happy new year! Kristen

So beautiful Chari!
Don't you just almost hate taking it down! We put so much work into our homes getting them ready for Christmas and then it's gone in a flash! Your home is especially lovely! Hugs and Happy New Year to my wonderful friend, Cindy

Loved seeing your decor, Chari! I am leaving mine up until after the first as I'm observing the Twelve Days of Christmas that ends in Epiphany.

Love, love, love that cocoa station. How cute! The rest is pretty neat, too! :-)

XO,

Sheila

Chari- I'm happy you are still enjoying your Christmas decor. Mine is all down and packed away for another year, which is the right thing for me - it feels so good to me to reclaim the house. Weather has been sunny here, but cold. We took the kids ice skating today. It is indoors, but was still cold!! Take care and Happy New Year. Sally

How pretty everything looks, Chari! I missed a few of your posts due to hubby's heart attack, so I'm thrilled that you have featured them again in this year end collection.

I'm not taking my stuff down until the Feast of the Kings on Jan. 6th so we're getting the full enjoyment out of it. :)

I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful home in 2010. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Hello Chari,
Thanks for your sweet visit today! I know you are very busy.

We hardly ever go out on New Years Eve. In the ten years we have been married we went to one neighborhood party and that was about five years ago. Too crowded and dangerous for me. I'll take a quiet night at home any ole' day. He!

Happy New Year to you and yours!
~Melissa :)

Chari- thank you for the tour! I do so love meandering through your lovely home just soaking in all the pretties!!

I had a wonderful time with my sister and her family- we got back tonight and am trying to play catch up on blogging!

Are you doing anything for New years?
We are usually pretty low key - have an invite but not sure if we will go or not- better hurry and decide huh!!?

blessings and Happy New year!

Your Xmas decor looked wonderful - love the colours you used - they're my Xmas colours too. Took down our tree and decs today and I really need to get some colour in the room - missing the red so much and the neutrals that I liked before now seem very boring now that my Xmas colours have gone!!

Happy New Year to you xx
