It's "Thrifty Thursday"!

Hello my friends...welcome to "Thrifty Thursday"! This fun filled Thursday meme is hosted by Leigh over at Tales From Bloggeritaville! Hehe...don't you just love that blog name! It's so fun...just like Leigh! If you haven't ever been over to Leigh's place, you really must go! She has a delightful blog!!!

This is my very first time to participate in "Thrifty Thursday"....after my weekend shopping trip to the thrift store, I could hardly wait for Thursday to roll around to share some of my thrift store treasures!!! However, before we get to my little treasures, I'd like to tell you a little about "Thrifty Thursday".

"Thrifty Thursday"

It is time for you to showcase your thrifty find. It can be an old find or a new one. It might be something that you found at a thrift store, a consignment store, flea market, garage/yard sale, dumpster diving, even antique stores. It's it was a thrifty find, then it meets the requirements. I am not picky, It can be a great pair of boots & a killer vintage dress, jewelry, home decor, even fishing lures. It is your thrifty find. Tell me about it.Where did you find it? What is it? What do you plan to do with it or how do you plan to use it in your home? Do you want to sell it? Thrifty Thursday's are about the thrill of the hunt...and the treasure you found. So....do show and tell!!! I took this excerpt right off of Leigh's blog...and I'm sure that if you have any more questions, etc. Leigh would be more than happy to help you out! I just wanted to let all of my friends know about this fun filled Thursday event...so many of us just love to go "thrifting" and it's a great way for us to share our treasure finds!!!

My Thrift Store Pitchers...

Wow...I really hit the jackpot this last weekend when I shopped at the ARC Thrift Store!!! I just love going to the thrift shops but I live so far away from any. I wished I lived closer, I would be sure to know the days that they put out new merchandise...I think that this is when you can really get some treasures for some great bargains! But....I don't! So I'm always really excited when I do find something!

I just fell in love with this first little glass pitcher! It's kind of retro looking don't you think? It's the type of pitcher that sits at a slant (hmmm...not sure how to explain it?) You know...when I saw it sitting on the shelf there at the thrift shop...I actually seen this little beauty sitting out on my patio table this Spring and Summer...full of fresh lemonade!!! I was sold!!! Hehe!!!

So what do you think? This pretty little pitcher was only $3.99! Ohhhh, how I love a great deal!!!

Some of my friends have already seen this next pitcher...I just blogged about it a couple of days ago...but for the sake of a few that didn't see it....here it is again!

I found this pretty "frenchy" pitcher the same day I found the glass pitcher (shown above). Wow...I really made out in the "pitcher department" that day! hehe!!! It was truly "love at first sight" with this fabulous frenchy treasure find!!! It's a large pitcher standing about 11 in. tall. The only label on the bottom are a set of initials which lead me to believe that this may have been handcrafted by an individual. I love the beautiful ornate embossing...definitely indicitive of many French designs!

This fabulously french pitcher was only $4.99!

What a deal!!! I grabbed it so fast off of the shelf that it would have made your head spin! Hehe!!! Of course, all of you thrift store shoppers know exactly what I'm talking about...you better act fast or it may be forever lost!

Another photo...I purposely left this photo a bit dark...the ornate embossing really shows up!

Well my friends...there you have it...a couple of my newest thrift store "treasure finds"! I'm so glad that you came by for a visit! Please leave me a comment and let me know that you were here! I always try to respond...I love doing this, I've met so many new friends this way!!!

Do you have any thrift store treasures that you would like to share? Why don't you go on over to Leigh's place and join up for "Thrifty Thursday"! I'd love to see your treasures!!!

Happy Thrifty Thursday!!!

Love ya'll,
Chari

Oh Chari...

I love!!!! that white pitcher. I'm a huge sucker for a pitcher (mine are the creamer size......due to lack of space)......but I would have nabbed that one too.

Have a wonderful day.

Hugs,
Spencer

Great finds! I am a sucker for pitchers and creamers. It seems like I don't find many pitchers, though. Maybe it's because you find them all, lol!

Thank you so much for commenting so sweetly on my blog. I so look forward to it and I love stopping by yours. Sorry for the late visit; my kids needed me. LOl

Two pitchers in one day - you really hit it big. Was that on your Easter day trip? Not much going on here - it was grandparent's day at school today, so I've been a Grammy most of the day at two different schools. Don't know why that should have pooped me out so, but it did!!! Do you have a fun weekend planned? For once, I hope we just stay home. Sally
