Cinderella Sweater Pumpkins...
*
You remember the story of Cinderella...don't you?
*
Cinderella wanted to go to the Ball...where she would meet her Prince Charming...and dance the night away. But first, she would need the proper attire and a way to get to the Ball. Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, who was certainly a "God-send" if you ask me, arrived on the scene and with one quick wave of her magic wand...outfitted Cinderella in the most gorgeous Ball gown and she also created a very fine coach out of a little pumpkin to take Cinderella to the Ball. There was only "one catch" to the magic! The magic would turn back to reality...at midnight! Ohhh my!
*
Cinderella stepped into the lovely pumpkin coach...dressed in that gorgeous, one-of-a-kind Ball gown! It was a chilly evening so Fairy Godmother waved her wand and whoooosssh...Cinderella now had the most beautiful knitted shawl to drape over her shoulders for warmth. Upon arrival at the castle...Cinderella took the knitted shawl off of her shoulders and placed it on the seat of the coach...after all, she wanted everyone to see that gorgeous Ball gown!
*
Well...you know how the rest of the story goes. The clock struck midnight and whoooosssh... Cinderella's beautiful coach turned back into a pumpkin...
*
and...lo and behold...there they were...SWEATER PUMPKINS!
*
Somehow the magic was confounded...and the coach that was magically created from a pumpkin...and Cinderella's beautiful sweater shawl that was laying upon the seat of the coach...were all magically meshed together...into one!
*
Ohhh my...and the most beautiful sweater pumpkins that you have ever seen...were just sitting there on the ground...why there was an entire pumpkin patch full of sweater pumpkins! They really are the most beautiful, magical, little pumpkins that you have ever seen!!!

Oh My Char, That is a great look with those darling pumpkins! Just love it! It is always a treat to visit your blog, just like going to a candy store! Eye candy, have a great day and thanks for sharing you are one of my Fav's! If you have a button I'll put you on my sidebar, if not you should create one and they show you how in the Blog Guide book if you need the link it is on my blog! Hugs, Marilou
Too cute! I absolutely love the texture of these little treasures. I visited somewhere last week showing a tutorial. But, just don't know if I've got that one figured out - twine, etc.
Enjoyed them! Love your style & taste.
Karen
aaawww Chari!! those are the cutest pumpkins.. I loved loved them!! :-)
They really are so cute, Chari! I have always been a big fan of Cinderella myself. I still love fairytales; guess it's the little girl that is still in me. Have a beautiful day, my friend.
Blessings,
Sandi
Those are gorgeous Chari! I have never seen ones like that before and your beautiful photography only enhances them! I love your new header too! :-)
Vanessa
Ha... I thought you had a typo in your title. These are wonderful. Some people are so very creative.

Chari- your Cinderella Story is so much better than my little explanation of these sweater pumpkins!! I might have to steal it!!
I am so glad you are enjoying your little cuties!! you do such a wonderful job displaying everything and these little guys look just perfect in your home!
Thanks for the shout out on my pumpkins!! It has been fun making them- they each have their own little personality!
I had to wear my silky thermal bottoms for the first time yesterday as it was getting so chilly! Of course my DH thinks it's so silly as my body had about a 3 degree variance before it is terribly hot or freezing cold!!

Chari,
I love YOUR version of the Cinderella story... and the darling pumpkins look so at home in your vignette! Just perfect for fall!
Thanks for pointing me over to Mary's blog.
I think my very favorite pumpkin is the darker nubby one. It is so adorable!
And I think they would look great on a sofa with pillows too.
Blessings,
Yvonne
Such creative people in this world! The (new and better) Cinderella story and these beautiful pumpkins! I would never have thought to make a pumpkin out of a sweater! But now that you've shared this idea, I just might try it. They are really lovely!
Oh your pumpkins are just fantastic and you are so right, Mary Ellen is just the sweetest lady. I just love the texture of the different sweaters she used, and the detail of each one. Your vignette is just stunning too. Also, thanks a ton for linking to TTT. Hugs, Marty
The Cinderella sweater pumpkins are perfect in your little vignette. I saw Mary's post about how she made them. I was in love with them then. You are lucky to now have 3 of them living at your house.
Kim
Oh how adorable! Those Cinderella pumpkins are just ... CHARMING. Hahahaha... my little joke.
thanks for a beautiful share, and a great idea; I'm going to mosey over to Mary's and see how they're made.
Happy Fall.... Cass
Hi Chari! Aren't the sweater pumpkins fun? Mary made some for me last year, and I've so enjoyed them. We saw Mary & Bill last week at their wonderful old house - you wouldn't believe the treasures within. Hope you are well and enjoying autumn. Sally
Chari, those are so cute. I love the added texture of those to your wonderful vignette. She really does a great job on those.
So cute ! I've never seen a sweater pumpkin before, will have to check it out!
Love these and the story to go with them. Going over to Mary's to see more. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Chari, love your sweater pumpkins!!!Cute!
Now those are pumpkins I'd put out because they aren't orange! Hmmm, I wonder if there are any sweaters in the closet that I need to clean?!
Later this month the kids have Fridays off and we actually have one ourselves. I can't wait! School is going well, I'm just tired. Maybe I have east Nile--half sibling of West Nile?!! ♥♫
Yep...these are pretty cute! I've made similar ones from hand=dyed fabric, but the sweater things are pretty unique! Thanks for sharing!
What an inspiring post! I will have to try those. Happy Autumn!

These are so adorable and easy to make, thanks for the great idea!
Well I can tell you where I'm headed today.....the thrift store to pick up a few old sweaters to make some beautiful Cinderella pumpkins. I think your idea of using these in the bedroom is perfect, just the right holiday tough without being a glaring holiday addition set in a quiet room. Thank you so much for sharing.
Those are precious! Who would have thought! Now something to do with those old sweaters!
I love how warm and cozy they look, and gkid proof too!
Thank you for all your kind words! And for linking, you are more than welcome to add all the links you would like. I took a bit of a look around and your livingroom is gorgeous. I have little ones about so ours is a bit plainer, but I love to see ones all decked out. And the pine bows, that we could do, thanks for the great idea. Also love the autumn picnic, so whimsical and wonderful! I am following now too.
I love those pumpkins and I so enjoyed your story, I have never heard that version. Imagine that!
I want to make one, I think I may try.
