An Autumn Tablescape in a Basket

*
*
Hello my friends...I hope you're having a fabulous day!
*
Today I would like to share an autumn tablescape...Of A DIFFERENT SORT! This has all the "makings" of a beautiful autumn tablescape. There are table linens, beautiful autumn dishes, and even a table centerpiece...
*
and
*
...it's all in an autumn basket!
*
*~An Autumn Tablescape in a Basket~
*
*
A beautiful autumn woven basket filled with the "makings" for an autumn table.*
*
Okay...let me explain. I really haven't lost all of my autumn acorns...urrr...I mean marbles! Ohhh well...I know that I'm nuts!!! Hehe! But I really do have intentions of setting a pretty autumn table. (I do hope that this will qualify for the Tablescape Thursday party.)
*
Lately, I have seen a few of my favorite designers use a pretty basket filled with beautiful dishware and lovely linens in their vignettes, or on the buffet, etc., and I really liked how it looked! Sooo...I was inspired to create a little basket of my own!
*
It's a wonderful way to showcase a few of your favorite dishes and linens!
*
*
My "autumn tablescape in a basket" is displayed in my kitchen.
*
I just love my vintage enamel topped table. It's distressed and chippy...at its very best! Hehe! A table lamp with an antiqued, bronze/copper finish lights up this little corner of my kitchen nicely. (Of course...no need of lamp light right now...the early morning sun was shining into my kitchen ever so sweetly!) An old copper boiler pot with ivy sits on the back of the table.
*
And now...the "star" of this vignette...my autumn basket filled with beautiful autumn dishes and table linens!
*
*
I've had this woven basket for sometime now...I love the pretty autumn colors!
*
The ingredients for an "autumn tablescape in a basket"
*
Three red and gold embroidered autumn placemats
Two autumn plaid dinner napkins
Two autumn dinner plates...Royal Stafford "Decoupage"
Two coordinating salad/dessert plates
Two acorn shaped bread and butter plates
Two cooridinating coffee mugs
Autumn florals
A pretty off-white ceramic pumpkin
and
Three red apples
*
Oh yes...each and every one of those items are in that basket!
*
And...I am now ready...and in a moments notice...I can set a beautiful autumn table! Sooo convenient!
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
And...VOILA!!! An "Autumn Tablescape in a Basket"!
*
*
I just had to add the photo above...as well as the next couple of photos...the morning sunlight was shining upon the basket so beautifully! I have really been enjoying "catching" the light and shadows in my photos! I have a new camera and have been playing!
*
*
*
*
*
Photoscapes photo effect..."watercolor pencil" was used to achieve this look! I love it!
*
*
I am joining these fabulous parties today...
*
*

*
Thank you Susan and Laurie...for hosting these fun filled parties for all of us to enjoy!!!
*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*
Well my friends, I'm so glad that you stopped by for a visit today! I would love for you to leave a comment and let me know that you were here...so that I can visit back with you!
*
Warmest Autumn Wishes!
Hi Chari,
I love this idea! I have some pretty linens and dishes and other fall elements that sit in my cabinets and drawers waiting to be used... now I'm going to borrow your lovely idea and set them out in a basket! I love the rich colors and textures that went into your vignette! Autumn manifested in your basket art!
Bleautiful!
Love the colors! I just need a large basket to put the junque in from the tabletop so I could actually see my table. That teaching just seems to get in the way of any fun I want to have decorating. Can't wait for a day off!
Great pictures from that new camera, too!! ♥♫
You could also put a great big bow on this gorgeous basket and see to it that it ends up under my Christmas tree! I already have visions of the tablescape that I could create with these lovely elements. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
You can make anything look beautiful, Chari. The basket is so pretty with all those fall colored dishes and other table accessories. Thank you so much for leaving a very sweet message on my AJ bday post. It makes me feel so much better. I just hate that she is growing so fast. She text me, saw the blog and said she was tearing up in front of her classmates, lol....Christine
Had a great day with Sally and her hubby! We took them out to Aguilar and showed them the ministry building. She was so sweet and brought some clothes from that estate sale she helped with and some food- they are just the sweetest couple ever!
Hi Chari! It's been too long! I am hoping after my daughter's wedding and reception I can be a better blogger!
I truly, truly LOVE this idea! It seems often times I have drop in family dinners. It's challenging enough coming up with the food, let alone setting a pretty table. This is a perfect solution.
I love all YOUR ingredients for a fall table. Such pretty pieces and I adore that basket!
Great idea!
Chari, this is beautiful! That basket is beautiful all by itself, but then you added all of the pretty Fall table setting items and the apples, and it is just stunning! Your photographs are incredibly beautiful. I think it is so charming on that table. It looks like you might walk out the door to have a beautiful Fall picnic. I'm so glad you linked this to Favorite Things Sat. I'm already looking around my house to find a basket pretty enough for me to attempt this idea. laurie
Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your favorite justification appeared
to be on the net the simplest thing to be aware of. I say
to you, I certainly get irked while people think about worries that they plainly do not know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out
the whole thing without having side effect , people could take a signal.
Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
I've been browsing online more than 3 hours lately, but I never found any attention-grabbing article like yours. It's lovely worth sufficient
for me. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made excellent content material as you probably did,
the net can be a lot more helpful than ever before.
