Today I would like to share with you another apothecary jar decoration! Many of you have already seen this...but there may just be a few who haven't! Enjoy!!!
**
"Bunny in a Jar"

This is a vignette that I did up for my Easter tablescape.

If you would like to see that tablescape...just click HERE.

I just love my apothecary jar...I sure have gotten alot of "mileage" out of it! Hehe!

Since I was doing this for an Easter tablescape, I decided to use my little ceramic bunny for the subject. I used malted milk candy eggs to fill the bottom of the jar...I just love all of the soft pastel colors!!! Mmmm...and they sure tasted great after Easter too! Hehe!
*
I used a couple of pretty ribbons for the handle of the jar...a white feathery ribbon and a pretty pink and white checked ribbon! Then I placed a vintage pearl (clip) earring on the bow!

Ahhh...just look at this sweet little bunny! He was a special treasure find from the thrift store. I just love the delicate glass pink roses on his back!!!

I also used my mini cloche for this Easter vignette. The dried rose was my husband's boutineer from our wedding! Another white feathery ribbon was tied around the handle and I added an old vintage key!

I've been learning how to make mosaics...and have had sooo much fun!

Well my friends...so happy that you came by for another pre-party preview!!! Don't forget that the Cloche Party is this Friday...dust off those pretty cloches and apothecary jars and share your creative talents with us!!! I'm looking forward to getting some great ideas...you always inspire me!!!

Love ya'll,
Chari

Chari my dear,
I think you are a cloche artist! That cute bunny one you did was one of the first I ever saw and I was in awe at how lovely it was! The one with the buttoneer and key is fabulous!! It's like a keepsake to remember your wedding by. I bet you can't wait to see your family, take lot's of pics (well I know you will) I can't wait to see my son again on the week-end and then i think hubby and I are taking off too. Maybe on Tuesday, not sure our destination but maybe to North Carolina. I'll keep you posted, now take care of your sweet self and don't get too tired. Hugs, Cindy

Oh Chari, you are just so full of inspiration and I love all the great things you do. Your creativity just never stops. This is so cute. Now I think I need to scour the countryside for some apothecary jars. You make them so pretty. Thanks again for showing a preview. I can't wait to see the party version. Thanks, Hugs Marty

Chari,
I love your bunny jar and the mini cloche. I was at Goodwill a few weeks back & they had 2 of the same mini cloches that you are showing. I talked myself out of them & I am kicking myself still. I've got to learn that if I see something I really like, buy it or I will regret it. And regret it I do. Especially now that Marty is having this cloche party. Boo hoo. Oh well, I'll survive.

What!!! My good friend Chari speaks Italian? Be still my heart!
Girl that is impressive and sounds so pretty too when I was reading it out loud. How did you learn it? Do you speak others as well?.

I SHOULD speak fluent Spanish having a Mexican mother but oh the shame of only knowing some. Oops.
She tried to teach us all growing up but having a German father it just didn't stick completely.
I could kick myself for not being fluent right now.

If it's a long story you can ell me when you get back. You should do a post on it. I think it's fascinating my friend!

Love ya girl!
"Fankisses" to you too!!! HEHE!

Can you hear me screamin'?
I forgot to say "Thank You"!

The arrangement came from Kirklands about three years ago.
I usually have it sitting on the breakfast bar area in the kitchen.

Have fun!!!

Thanks for visiting my cloches and me! I just love those buttons in that cloche. So cute. I don't own any old buttons, but if I did, I would be copy-catting!! Happy Cloche Party!
