Pillow Parade in my Tea Rose Bedroom...

It seems like I've had many opportunities lately to show-off this bedroom! Thanks to Tuesday's "Pillow Parade" I'm going to take you on a little visit, once again, to my garden-chic styled, Tea Rose bedroom. When I decided to redo this room, I found my "inspiration point" while looking for bedding. I purchased the Tea Rose bedding from JC Penneys. It was exactly what I was looking for...I love the beautiful roses! The creamy white, soft pinks, buttery yellows, and pretty green colors were soooo perfect!!! Four different fabrics are used in this bedding; 1) a large floral pattern of tea roses with a creamy white background (comforter & shams). 2) a small floral pattern with a green backgound (shams & decorative pillow). 3) a small floral pattern with a pink background (backing of the comforter). 4) and a stripe pattern which incorporates all of the colors used in the bedding (euro shams & bed skirt)! I just love the look and feel of mixing all of these different patterned fabrics!!!

Are you ready? The "Pillow Parade" begins...

The first pretty little pillow I would like to show you is round and is made of the same fabrics as the bedding.

I found this pretty rose paisley printed pillow at the Antique Flea market...it was only $4! As soon as I seen the pretty pink, I knew it would go perfectly with the Tea Rose bedding. It's a Tommy Hilfiger pillow.

Just look at the sweet patterned fabric used on this little pillow and such pretty colors too! The pinks and greens couldn't have been a more perfect match!

This next little pillow shares some of the darker shades of pink found in the bedding...and it has roses on it too! I just love the different fabric patterns found in the patchwork squares! I honestly can't remember where I found this pretty pillow...sheeeshh, old age! hehe!

This is a photo of the rocking chair that I recovered in an olive green toile fabric for the Tea Rose bedroom. The pretty little petite stripe pillow is in olive green and cream. Each corner has a little button sewed onto it! I also found this pillow at the Antique Flea market...but I don't remember what I gave for it! I found the bolster pillow on an ebay shop...it was on sale for $5.99 and I just couldn't pass up that deal. It has the prettiest pattern of sweet roses in the center of the pillow...the outer edges are velvet!

The back side of the striped pillow. As much as I love the pretty white and lavender colored hydrangeas, I like the striped (front) pattern better with the toile fabric.

Ohhh my...just look at this pretty little pillow...all pink and green...and with a bunny on the front!!! This is one of Kari & Kijsa's pillows! As soon as I saw it, I thought...how perfect it would be for my Tea Rose bedroom...wonder if I can talk Kari and Kijsa out of it? Hehe!!! Wouldn't it be just perfect? You can click HERE to see this little beauty at Kari & Kijsa's!

Well my friends...hope you enjoyed Tuesday's "Pillow Parade"! Don't forget to stop by Kari & Kijsa's place! Do you have some pretty pillows? Ohhh, I know you do...why don't you join in the parade...let's have some fun!!!

  13. Chari, that is one beautiful room! It reminds me of a bed and breakfast. I love all the details and of course, the pillows. One of these days I'm going to buy one of K&K's pillows.

I have to tell you...you asked about my blue pillow with embroidery on it...Well, it's in my guest room. I bought it at Dillard's along with the bedding. It's that Daniel Cremieux brand. BUT here's the kicker...I used to have the Tommy Hilfiger stuff that matches some of your pillows in the Tea Room!! I still miss that soft pink and green. It's gorgeous! I only changed ours because my hubby also uses this room as a home office and it was too feminine. Oh, I love those colors.

  23. Every pillow is prettier than the last! The sun is shining and no wind today - Bob is out planting peas as he always does on St. Pat's Day. I guess Spring is coming even without our usual March snows!! BTW, thanks for answering my question about your shopping areas. Our son also shops in Greeley; he is about 30 miles away. I went to my first year of college in Greeley - things sure have changed there since then.

  24. Oh Chari I love all your pillows, especially the square pink one on the bed with the sweet flowers and that bunny one! I love your toile chair. I just did a post on recovering a Pier 1 dining table chair set in toile. I thought it would spruce things up a bit in a more vintage style even though the table is a little contemporary. :)

    Thanks for sharing!

  25. I love your pillows!!! Pillows are the perfect accessory. My husband hates that we have so many pillows on our bed (when it gets made). Shhh, don't tell anyone that I don't make my bed very often. I wish I had a tea rose room.
