"Spring Fluffing Party"...

Hello my friends! Spring is here...well, it's nearly here! Although we have been having some beautiful Spring like weather in colorful Colorado, I'm afraid that we still have some wintery weather ahead of us...in fact, March seems to be the month for north-eastern Colorado blizzards...eeekks! So forgive me...but I'm not going to hold my breath!!! There really are not any tell-tale signs that Spring has arrived at our place...but the spring daffadils will soon be popping their little heads up through the cold hard ground...yeeehawww! Spring is indicitive of hope and I'm going to think postive today...after all, a party is being held in it's honor....ahhhhh SPRING!!! Our dear friend Rhoda over at Southern Hospitality is hosting a party today....a "Spring Fluffing Party"...and I sure did want to participate! Hehe!!! I can definitely say that I'm ready for Spring and ready for a Spring party! So let's have some fun!!!

Spring Fluffing & A Sneek Peek...

So here is my small contribution to Spring...a sweet little bird! Ohhh my, I may be Rhoda's only party-goer to show up with just one little bird in hand but I didn't want to be a party-pooper and not show up at all...wink! My little white bird is so very sweet....hmmm, what are you saying sweet little bird? Little bird wanted me to tell you that there is much more than what meets the eye!

What sweet little bird is trying to say is that this is just a "sneek-peek" at tomorrow's Tablescape Thursday! Hehe!

Ohhhh look...and there's pretty Spring flowers too! Ahhhh...white hydrangeas in a white ironstone pitcher!!! It IS looking a bit like Spring!

Hehe...enough said! Well, it was just a "sneek-peek" after all! I'll look forward to your visit tomorrow for Tablescape Thursday hosted by Susan over at Between Naps On The Porch. Until then, heres to Spring!!! May the Lord bless you with refreshing Spring showers and many beautiful flowers!!! Don't forget to go over to Rhoda's place...and share in everyone's Spring Fluffing!!!

  8. Oh, I love that little bird! I have a thing for birds. Keep buying more for my house when I've already got plenty. :-)

I'm afraid we're not over winter here in Ohio yet, either, but I'm pretending we are anyway! Ha.

  14. Nothing says Spring like birdies!!!! Can't wait for tomorrows post. I'm sure your tablescape will be beautiful. I lived in Utah for 8 years so I know how winter can come back with a vengeance this time of year. Now that I am back in Southern California, we went straight from winter to summer. It's suppose to be about 90 here today. I want some Spring temps!!!!!

  20. Love the white bird. Can you ever have too many? LOL

Yes, I used something called The Woolie on my walls. It came along with a how to video. I think I got mine from QVC but I think you can get them at Home Depot because after I did mine I had a few friends that bought a kit and I helped them paint their houses. It's pretty easy. I used 3 different but yet in the same family paint colors, apply it to the wall in a random fashion, use the large brush to blend the colors and then you use the woolie to pat. The woolie looks like a big trol (not sure I spelled that correct as I don't know my tools) with lambs wool covering it. I'm sure if you googled you could even find a demonstration video on line. I did my livingroom and kitchen about 3 years ago. Hope this helps!
