Sweet November Autumn...Happy Friday!

Ahhhhh....sweet November autumn!
*
Hello my friends...I hope you're having a fabulous day.
*
This week we had our second snow of the season here in Colorful Colorado.  It has
been really cold with daytime temps barely reaching into the 30's...and nightime temps
getting down into the lower teens....brrrr!  It is suppose to warm up a bit today,
however I think that autumn...is slowly but surely...giving way to the winter season.
At least in my "neck of the woods".  I'm not sure that I'm ready for this!
*
I really haven't accomplished much the last week or so.  My achey bones are trying
to adjust to the colder temperatures.  I'm moving slower than molasses in January!

New Autumn Salad/Dessert Plates...
*
I did find a pretty set of autumn salad/dessert plates at Walmart last week and
decided to play a bit with a place setting. I thought I would share just a few photos of
the table with you today.  Hopefully I can share the entire table next week.

With Autumn Glory Such as This
*
"I am rich today with autumn's gold,
All that my covetous hands can hold;
Frost-painted leaves and goldenrod,
A goldfinch on a milkweed pod,
Huge golden pumpkins in the field
With heaps of corn from a bounteous yield,
Golden apples heavy on the trees
Rivaling those of Hesperides,
Golden rays of balmy sunshine spread
Over all like butter on warm bread;
And the harvest moon will this night unfold
The streams running full of molten gold.
Oh, who could find a dearth of bliss
With autumn glory such as this!"

Chari, you have a Midas touch when it comes to these things ... beautiful setting. I just love that chubby little pumpkin tureen/soup bowl. How adorable is he?

But what's this? Your SECOND snow??? that's nuts, my friend. It's barely November!

Stay warm -- put on leg warmers, you can find them at thrift shops now!

Beautiful, Chari! I haven't been to a Walmart in ages! I LOVE your dishes! Did you get your chargers there, too? I have the hardest time finding them. I also like your little soup tureen! So cute.

Well, stay warm, my friend. Our temps are low but no snow yet!

XO,
Jane

You are such an artist, my friend, at setting a beautiful table and creating lovely vignettes. The pumpkin tureens are so adorable. I so like the poetry you used for your Autumn setting. It works so perfectly with your creation.

Thanks for sharing this lovely post at Potpourri Friday!
