Have a super Sunday!!!

Just a little note: Sunday Favorites Criteria
When I first started the Sunday Favorites meme, my initial thought was to offer a solution for getting a post out on the weekend without having to spend alot of time doing so...weekends are just a busy time for most of us! Copying and pasting a previous post is so quick and easy. Not only is this a quick and easy solution to the busy weekends, but it's also an opportunity to dig back into our blog archives and share a favorite "past" post once again! Many of us spend alot of time and effort creating a post and it just seems a shame that it is viewed only once and then forgotten about!
I would like to reiterate that Sunday Favorites is a meme about sharing or revisiting a post from the PAST!
Thank you!!!

Tabletops, Vignettes and Favorite Accessories
I am also joining in with Barb over at Grits and Glamour for her brand new Tuesday party..."Tabletops, Vignettes and Favorite Accessories". Please go by and see Barb...I just know that she is going to have some "eye candy" for all of us! While you are over there, you can check out the pretties of all of the other party-goers! Thank you, Barb...for hosting this fabulous Tuesday party!!!*
Well my friends, we are back in my french country dining room once again! I wanted to show you my newest treasure find...a crystal pedestal cake plate and cover.
*
I placed my newest treasure find on my dining room table to take photos. I thought it looked pretty along with the table centerpiece.
*
A Crystal & Silver Table Centerpiece...
Since I have decided to use a few pieces of my silver on the dining room buffet...I thought it appropriate to carry the silver theme over to my dining room table.
*
A large apothecary beverage jar filled with mercury glass ornaments sits atop an ornate silver tray. I also added my silver coffee pot to the mix and a couple of large mercury glass orbs that I found at Hobby Lobby for half-price ($3 ea.). I am using another one of my new treasure finds...a white and silver table runner. I found this pretty runner at Dillards in their "after Christmas" sale...$12.00. You can get a better look at the table runner in a couple of photos below.
*
Behind the crystal pedestal cake plate you can see the remnants of a silver & white place setting.

My Newest Treasure Find...A Crystal Pedestal Cake Plate and Dome
*
Ohhh...just look at this crystal beauty!!!
*
This lead crystal pedestal cake plate and cover is Godinger Shannon Crystal made in Poland. I'm telling you...it really makes a grand statement at 18 in. tall and it is soooo heavy!
*
Let me tell you a little story....
*
One night, a week after Christmas, I was unable to sleep...and what do we do when we are unable to sleep in the middle of the night? We shop online, of course!!! Hehe! Anyway, I decided to look at Dillard's online site to see what kind of deals they had going after Christmas and ohhh my goodness...this is what I found! It was originally $139.00...and was now marked down to just $19.00! Yeeehawww...I was doin' the happy dance! I just couldn't believe my good fortune...I had been wanting one for sooo long and had priced many...all to my chagrin! They were always a little "pricey" for my pocketbook! Well...I ordered this little beauty faster than you could say, "crystal pedistal cake plate"! And...there was free shipping! I don't know if I could have afforded the shipping on this beautiful...but heavy...cake plate! I also found the pretty white and silver table runner at the same time. WOW...I made-off BIG TIME!!!
*
Just look at the beautiful details...ohhh, and it really sparkles!!!
*
I love the beautiful cut work on the base...sooo pretty!
*
New White and Silver Table Runner...
*
Just a couple photos of the table runner. I love the pretty silver bead work around the edge of the runner...and the beaded snowflake pattern that can be found on both ends! This pretty table runner was originally marked $69 at Dillards...marked down to just $12.
*
*
*
One last photo...my new crystal pedestal cake plate under a dimly lit chandelier. I love how it looked in the soft light...still sparkling!!! Ahhhh...crystal and silver!!! Sooo very elegant!!!

Hey dear, I have spent the last few days just trying to stay warm and watching Miss Addison. It was 31 below the other morning. Air temp, not wind chill.
Katie started a new job and I am going to be watching Addison when she works. It's going to be a juggling act between her job and mine but I don't want Addison going to a sitter's when she is so little.
Hugs and enjoy your weekend with the kids!
Hi to hubby too,
Cindy
