Hello my friends! Wow...it's almost time to ring in the New Year but before we do, I thought I would share a few of the 2009 Christmas highlights at Happy To Design!
*
It won't be long till all the Christmas decor will be packed away for another year! I must admit...I squeeze every minute and every bit of enjoyment out of Christmas that I can! Hehe! So before it's taken down and packed away...I would like to take you through one final tour of our Christmas home! There are quite a few photos...photos of my living room, dining room, and a few of my favorite Christmas vignettes! They are pretty self-explanatory...so I'll just let you enjoy the photos without being soooo wordy! I hope that you enjoy!!!

*
The snowmen are three dimensional! See there little carrot noses sticking out...hehe!
*
Below is a close-up photo of my mercury glass Santa! He stands about 21 in. tall! He has such a beautiful face...and I love the bright colors of his suit and toys!!!

Chari, I honestly think that I could see a photo of a vignette you had done and immediately know it was yours. You have such a distinctive style, and your vignettes are always so beautiful, so romantic and such a joy to see. Thank you for linking this to Favorite Things Sat. laurie

Everything is so captivating and interesting. You have a great eye and you really show them off to their best advantage.
It would be too hard to pick a favorite piece.

I remember your beutiful house from last year.
I think a lot of us are reaching back in time for a few posts thru this busy time of the year. It sneaked up a lot of us, I think.
I could see your beautiful home over and over...:))

Chari,
Your home is lovely, which I have come to expect!!! What lovely vignettes. Your fireplace mantel is breathtaking and the the vignette of gold looking through the window to the snowy outdoors is inspired.
A cocoa station! What a terrific idea. I think I should do that, too!

Thanks for the inspiration, Chari. I have not started decorating yet because we just got back from a cruise last night and I am still unpacking. Your pretty decor is making me excited though....Christine

Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your article seem to be running off
the screen in Ie. I'm not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I thought I'd post to let you know.
The layout look great though! Hope you get the problem solved
soon. Thanks
