Christmas Cloche Party

*
Hello my friends...I hope you're having a fabulous Friday!
*
Today is the day that everyone in Blogland has been waiting for...
Whew...I barely made it in time...just sliding in under the wire! Hehe! I have been so busy trying to get all my Christmas decorating finished...cleaning up the decorating "aftermath"...photos taken, etc., that the Christmas Cloche Party kind of snuck up on me. So I only have one cloche to share for the party today...but I didn't want to miss out. I hope that you enjoy!!!

My 2010 Christmas Fireplace Mantel
Christmas in the Woodlands...2010 Christmas Mantel
*
Last year I did an elegant, creamy white and gold colored mantel theme...so this year I wanted to do something different. I decided on a more informal mantel design...one with a natural, woodsy feel. I love how the deep, rich burgandy looks with the pine greenery...and of course there is a little gold sparkle thrown into the mix...for a bit of Christmas magic!
*
Woodlands Santa
*
I started collecting Santas a few years ago. This Woodlands Santa is my favorite! I love his burgandy cordoroy, fur lined robe and cap. In one hand, Santa has his woodlands staff...with a little red cardinal resting in the pine. A burgandy velvet bag of pine and sugared fruit is tossed over his shoulder...with another bag of pine, fruit, and berries sitting at his feet.
*
A Woodlands Christmas Cloche...
*
To the left of Santa...you will see my old, french looking...wire cloche. I love the gray distressed finish...and it stands a stately 30 inches tall. I filled it (very carefully...hehe!) with different shades of gold ornaments. I really like how the shiny ornaments look through the wire!

*
Well my friends...I hope to share more of my Woodlands Christmas mantel with you for Metamorphosis Monday...so please come back by!
*
A special thank you to our dear, sweet hostess Marty over at A Stroll Thru Life...for hosting this fun filled cloche party for all of us to enjoy! You'll have to go and check out all of Marty's gorgeous Christmas cloches...as well as the other party participants pretties! I'm tellin' ya...this is a great resource for Christmas design ideas...you won't want to miss it!
*
Thank you so much for coming by today! Please leave me a comment and let me know that you were here...I'd love to visit with you!

Warmest Christmas Wishes!

So pretty, Chari! Love the Santa! My hubby would never allow me to have Santa in the house because he always felt it distracted from the real Reason for the Season. But I am wearing him down little by little by calling them Father Christmas. A couple of weeks ago I found one at the grocery store which I liked and Hubby actually did too. I didn't get him but there's always next year! He,he!! Have a wonderful weekend.

Christmas blessings,
Sandi

Chari,
Beautifully done, dear! Your Santa and the cloche full of gold ball ornaments make an eye appealing statement. I, truly, adore how your gold open wire ribbon brings all the elements together! I'm in agreement with you that blog ladies have the best decorating ideas!

I've been browsing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be a lot more useful than ever before.
