I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend! It's been a busy but very enjoyable week here at my place! My honey took a week's vacation and has been home...I have really enjoyed having him here!!! We haven't really done much...just a few projects that we've wanted to do around the house and yard.
We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on Friday, June 4th...took a day trip to Denver and had soooo much fun! We went to Denver's Mile High Flea Market...tauted as being the largest flea market in Colorado. It was our first time there...we did lots of looking but no buying! Hehe...I know...can you believe that? Honey also took me to a Home Goods store, my very first time to go to one! I loved it!!! I found a couple of goodies and hopefully will be sharing them with ya'll soon. Before leaving Denver, we went to Landry's Seafood Restaurant...ohhh, that was sooo good! Seafood is one of our favorites! We had a fabulous day together!
Hmmm...with wedding anniversaries and love still very fresh on my mind, I decided to revisit a post called "Beloved Valentine" for Sunday Favorites today. I hope that you enjoy!!!

Hello my friends! Valentine's Day is nearly here and I am celebrating the gift that God gave me...my beloved valentine...Russell!
*
I am such a blessed woman and I thank the Lord each and every day for giving me my husband Russell! We will be celebrating Valentine's Day with a romantic dinner for two. The table has been set and the menu is planned.

This Valentine's table is spun with silver and creamy white!

In the center of the table is an old silver trinket box filled with a few Valentine postcards dating back to the early 1900's. They were penned from the hand of my great-great-uncle to his mother which would be my great-great-grandmother! The Valentine postcard that you see here was penned in the year 1912! What a treasure!!! I feel so blessed to have these sweet little love notes....written from a son to his beloved mother on Valentine's Day!

I placed an olden key upon the precious Valentine postcard!

Love certainly is the KEY...and my beloved holds the key to my heart!!!

Chari, you know how much I love this tablescape. It is just stunning and every single detail is just perfect. I love it. Your ladies are just gorgoeus, and all of your beautiful china, crystal and silver are so perfect. Love it all. Happy Anniversary to you too!!!!! Hugs, Marty
Hello there once again my dear friend,
You know, this post is one of my all time favorites of yours Cheri!..,I love, love, love each and every exquiste and well though out detail of your exceptional design artistry; I simply adore silver, white dishes, and hearts!
~My oh my, I especially enjoy the overall vignette and that dear Valentines antique ephemera image on the silver tray!.., So pretty!(Also, as you may recall, having a Valentines birthday myself, the theme is always near and dear to my heart)!..,
How perfect on occasion of your 5th wedding anniversary Cheri!~ Hope you had a marvelous time with your sweetie and that you enjoyed you fifth anniversary to the full!..,
..,(Did you by chance find some Home Good's treasures?.., I sure can't wait to see them if you did there girlfriend)!..,
Thanks so much for your sweet and kind words of encouragement my dear friend; it always means so much!..,
..,(Sorry to confuse you my dear; I really should have mentioned the following:
~From amongst my artcards Cheri, really any set can be 'broken-up' from it's packaged set.~ You are welcome to select from ANY of the individual cards;(even if, AS MENTIONED above); some are sold in a set..,In other words; any four cards that you want to choose is fine!..,
~(They also frame nicely if you so choose later). ~ May I suggest the perfume bottle cards or perhaps those with a blue and white tea theme..,(The puppies, kitties and teddy bears are cute also0; so as you can see my friend, anything you want is 'A' ok!
~ All you need do, for example Cheri, is to simply 'describe each card of the four art cards',of any of my cards that you have selected, and I can take it from there; please also email me your selection's description when also send your snail mail address.~ Thanks!
Hope that helps!..,(I know; sometimes 'I'm as clear as mud')!.., Hehe..,
We also had a wonderful 28th wedding anniversary my honey and I; thanks so much Cheri for your warm well wishes for our day!
Have a marvelous, restful and blessed Sunday and 'Sunday Favorites' blog party!~ Have a great week!..,
Love ya!
