Beloved Valentine

"I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine..."
(Song of Solomon 6:3)

Hello my friends! Valentine's Day is nearly here and I am celebrating the gift that God gave me...my beloved valentine...Russell!
*
I am such a blessed woman and I thank the Lord each and every day for giving me my husband Russell! We will be celebrating Valentine's Day with a romantic dinner for two. The table has been set and the menu is planned.
*
Beloved Valentine
*
This Valentine's table is spun with silver and creamy white!

(I have quite a few photos to share with you today so I will just let them speak for themselves.)

In the center of the table is an old silver trinket box filled with a few Valentine postcards dating back to the early 1900's. They were penned from the hand of my great-great-uncle to his mother which would be my great-great-grandmother! The Valentine postcard that you see here was penned in the year 1912! What a treasure!!! I feel so blessed to have these sweet little love notes....written from a son to his beloved mother on Valentine's Day!
*
*
I placed an olden key upon the precious Valentine postcard!
*
Love certainly is the KEY...and my beloved holds the key to my heart!!!

Your table is stunning. The silver and white present an elegant combination of colors and textures. For me, the valentine cards from your great greats was the best part of the tablescape for me.
ReplyDeleteHello Chari ~I didn't want to miss the opportunity to come by and wish you a Happy Valentines Day.
ReplyDeleteSometimes our lives can become very busy making it difficult to return visits. I truly appreciate you taking the time to not only visit but, especially for leaving me with your sweet comments.
It inspires my creativity. It's always a joy to share with you just as you did with this stunning tablescape.
I hope you can stop by for some V-Day fun. I've posted a tutorial on Conversation Heart Petit fours.
Sweet Valentine Wishes,
Sara
What a sweet treat! Love truly lives in the details.
ReplyDeleteHappy hearts day!
Hey Chari - and happy Valentine's Day to you! Thanks for leaving such a long nice comment on my shelf post! Bella Italia *sigh*...
ReplyDeleteNow to your Valentine's arrangements - I absolutely adore your apothecary jar. It is so pretty. And there are so many other pretty, sparkly things to discover in your display. In fact I have just been struck by inspiration thanks to those silver finial-type of ornaments. (No idea what you call them - the things that look as if they are Christmas tree toppers). I bought some tree toppers cheaply in the Sales - and I am thinking now I could recreate something like your finials...
Have a nice day tomorrow!
Sonja @ Craft-Werk

ReplyDeleteYou may have even experienced receiving little, tiny pictures or those with labels
but are so generic; do you think of people who could read
into critical thinkers and scholars. Anything smaller than 8.
Even although vinyl is, and she believes much of that
