Ohhh boy...I don't know about you...but by this time of the year I sure could use a break from the cold and bleak winter scene! So today for Sunday Favorites, I am rerunning a post about my family's 2009 summer vacation to Corpus Christi, Texas...where it's always warm and sunny! If you are one of those bloggers that live in cold country...this one is for you!!!
*
I am also joining the "Silver Sunday" party today! Silver Sunday is a new Sunday meme hosted by Beth over at Gypsy Fish Journal.

It's Mosaic Monday!!!

Hello my friends!
*
Mary over at Little Red House is hosting Mosaic Monday! I have been wanting to join in for awhile now...since I have recently learned how to do mosaics and have had such fun doing them! I just made these mosaics last week after returning from our Texas family vacation. Just thought I would reshare them and join in with Mary's Mosaic Monday! You'll have to go by and see Mary's fabulous summer mosaics and while you're there you can check out all of the other participant's mosaics!
*
Thank you, Mary...for hosting such a fun filled mosaic party!!!
*
You can just click HERE to get over to Mary's place!

I made these mosaics with photos that I found on the internet of Corpus Christi, Texas. Corpus Christi really is a magical place with all of its southern charm and beautiful island views!!!

Well my friends...I'm so happy that you stopped by today! I know that many of you have already seen these mosaics but it was a quick and easy post for me! I'm still trying to recuperate from our Texas trip and we also had a very busy "car show" weekend!!! I'm just exhausted!!! Hopefully I can get in the "grind" of things soon...and get some new posts up and going!
*
Have a marvelous Mosaic Monday!!!

Sun, sand and the sea are my favorite things. Sure wish I could be spending some time in a place like this right now.

I so dislike the cold and dreariness of winter.

Wonderful photographs. Thanks for the reminder that spring is sure to come before long.

Oh I love these mosaics. Corpus is such a pretty place. Love that gazebo, it's just as pretty in person. And did you say car show weekend? How fun! Do you have a car that you enter? Kathy

Thanks for hosting as usual Chari.
Your photo mosaic makes me long for some warm weather. It is very cold and gray here today.

Oh Chari,
Those are some beautiful pics my friend! It's what this winter weary gal needs; some sun, sand and blue skys! Dan and I went to Madison this week-end and it was a nice little get-away. Mostly we just bummed around and went out to eat, but it's just nice to get out of Dodge. How's the week-end with the kids? Hope you all had a lovely time just being together as a family. Hugs, Cindy

Hi Chari,
Love the pics! I hope it is much warmer there than here in the Ft. Worth area...just bitterly cold again. :-( I love your new header with all the silver!

Get some rest my friend ~

xoxo

Hi Chari, your pictures are lovely. Ron and I were just at the beach a couple of weeks ago. There is something so timeless about it, isn't there? And healing!

So gorgeous, my friend!

Hugs, Barb ♥
