It's Pink Saturday!

Hello and welcome to my very first "Pink Saturday"! Beverly over at "How Sweet the Sound" is the gracious hostess...if you haven't ever been over to her place you must go! She is showcasing the most beautiful little Maude Humphrey figurine...she's absolutely precious!!!

Many of you have already seen the treasures that I'm sharing for "Pink Saturday"...please forgive me but I really did want to participate today!

This past summer I just had a "field day" shopping on ebay! I found this little treasure and just had to have her! I just adore cherubs & angels and this little beauty was made in Italy. I don't know how old or new that she is...and it really didn't matter to me...but she is made out of a vinyl like resin....and handpainted! She was just perfect for my Tea Rose bedroom. I placed her on the bed crown/canopy. Just look at her sweet face...so angelic!!!

Here you can see how she looks on the bed crown/canopy! I just adore how she looks against the creamy white fabric I draped around the canopy! She also has a little cherub friend on the other side of the canopy...but she is blue so I'll save her for another day! Below the canopy, I hung a wreath made of pink magnolias, baby's breath, and glass berries on the wall (just above the headboard).

See this precious little "Teacup" lamp....it is one of my most prized possessions!!! My dear, sweet friend Gloria made this little lamp and shade just for me!!! There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of my dear friend...every time I see my little teacup lamp....I always smile and feel so blessed to know her!!! I just adore that pink rose on the teacup and saucer...and the pretty pink shade with it's satin bow and tassel!!! Thank you again, Gloria!!! This lamp was the perfect addition to my Tea Rose bedroom!!!

Well this was fun!!! I must admit that I don't have much pink around my house....except in the Tea Rose bedroom! In this room....pink is alive and well...hehe!!!

Thank you for sharing with me in "Pink Saturday"!

Love ya'll,
Chari
