Hello my friends...
*
Happy Valentine's Day!
*
Today I thought I would share with you a few Valentine vignettes
in my living room. Some of the Valentine vignettes may look familiar to
you...and you would be right. Christmas 2011 at my place has evolved into
Valentine's Day 2012 (minus a bit of greenery, etc.).
*
Since the Christmas decor in my living room was done in a silver and
white color theme...it transitioned easily into the decor for this winter season.
A trio of "serenading angels" was the star attraction for my 2011 Christmas mantel.
They work perfectly for a Valentine's Day mantel as well. I've gotten "miles" of
decor use out of this mantel decor and out of the vignettes as well, but after
Valentine's Day...I'm afraid they will finally have to go. Hehe!

I hope you enjoy!

A Mantel to Celebrate
the "Day of Love"
*
*
Here we are...in my living room.
*
A shimmering silver and sparkling white mantel dressed for Valentine's Day.
*
*
I love silver and white paired together...it looks so elegant to me!
*
Tall silver candle lanterns grace each side of my faux fireplace mantel,
along with a few silver candleholders with white tapers. Mercury glass finials
and ornaments also join in with the shimmering mix of silver.
*
...and...
*
A pair of sweet serenading angels are showcased front and center
on the mantel.
*
*
*
*
*
Decorative mercury glass finials can be seen through the glass of
the candle lanterns.
*
*
Ahhhh...the serenading angels are playing love songs...romancing the heart!
*
*
A valentine vignette for the small table that is positioned between the
love seat and fireplace.
*
The third serenading angel graces this little vignette of love!

*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
A mercury glass heart with a white organza ribbon!
*
*
More shimmering silver and sparkling white for a table that sits in
front of the living room window.
*
As I said before...this vignette was created for Christmas. I just
love how it turned out and I am still enjoying it!
*
*
All kinds of "pretties" fill the three tiered glass pedestal plates.
*
They really sparkle when the sunlight shines on them!
*
*
The french lady bust is sporting a beautiful pearl necklace.
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
I love the white mercury glass birds with the white feathery tails!
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
And Voila...there you have it! A Valentine's Day decor in my living room!
