Hello my friends...I hope you're having a fabulous day!

Wow...with just a little over two weeks to go...the Christmas countdown clock is tic-tocking

 away!  I love, love, LOVE Christmas!  It's my favorite holiday of the year!

*

Today I thought I would continue the tour of my 2011 Christmas decor in the living room.

*

~Silver Symphony~

*

My living room's Christmas decor has taken on a theme..."Silver Symphony"...with lots of

 shimmering silver and sparkling white.

*

Last year while I was shopping at one of my favorite antique shops, I found a trio

 of serenading angels.  As soon as I seen them, I knew that I wanted to use them in my

 Christmas decor this year.  This sweet trio of angels are made of white porcelain and they

 stand a stately 12 inches tall.  Each angel has a different musical instrument.  Thus...the

 Christmas decor theme in my living room began to evolve into a "Silver Symphony"!

The mantel's star attraction...

two serenading angels and a tall decorative mercury glass finial.

*

As you can see...two of the trio of angels has landed upon my faux fireplace mantel.

And...here is the third serenading angel.

*

This table is situated between the fireplace mantel and sofa.  I created this little

 Christmas vignette for the table with a few of my favorite things...
*
a glittery silver star under a tall cloche, a small silver bird under a teeny-tiny
 cloche, small silver reindeer, white icicle ornaments, a white frosted pinecone,
 and my favorite heart shaped mercury glass ornament...and...of course the
 sweet serenading angel!

A close-up of my heart shaped mercury glass ornament.  I added a white

 organza ribbon to the top of the heart.  The ribbon is wired so it can be shaped

 into a swirling...twirling...pretty!

A Second Christmas Vignette...

Another Christmas vignette decorates the table that sits in front of the

 tall arched window in our living room!

My French lady bust overlooks three tiered pedestal plates filled

 with sparkling white and shimmering silver ornaments! 

*

Silver candlesticks with white tapers and tall mercury glass

 candleholders join into the mix! 

*

Jeweled mercury glass ornaments with white twirly-whirly ribbon

 sit atop the mercury glass candleholders.

*

*

"Im dreaming of a white Christmas.

Just like the ones I used to know.
