Hello my friends...I hope you're having a fabulous day!
*
As many of you know, I am smak-dab in the middle of doing a little autumn sprucing at my place. It's coming along nicely and I hope to have a few photos to share with you soon. In the meantime, I thought I would revisit an autumn tablescape that I did last year. I hope that you enjoy!!!
*
(Just a little note: I hope that you don't mind revisiting a past post. For those of you who do tablescapes, you know the work that goes into creating a pretty table...as well as the work of creating a blog post. It's nice to be able to enjoy the "fruit of one's labor" once again! Thank you for indulging me!)

"Autumn Pears"...for an Autumn Table

I have used autumn pears in so much of my autumn decor this year. At the beginning of the season I created a three tiered centerpiece for the dining room table filled with autumn's bounty. I decided to use this centerpiece for an autumn tablescape and continue the theme of "autumn pears".

The table is dressed in golden yellow, pear green, and warm browns...the colors of autumn pears!

The Centerpiece...

The Centerpiece...

The Centerpiece was created using three tiers of glass pedestal cake plates. A tall, gold pillar candle sits on the top layer...along with a few wood pods and three miniature pumpkins. The middle layer is filled with autumn pears. Autumn berries, woody seed pods, nuts, and two yellow lovebird figurines decorate the bottom layer.
*
*A few wood acorns and autumn pears are scattered about on the table runner. I just love this beautiful table runner! It is the prettiest shade of goldenrod yellow and it has white vines and leaves embroidered on each end! A pair of vintage Roseville pottery candleholders sit on either side of the three tiered centerpiece.

I found these beautiful leaf plates on sale at JC Penneys at the end of summer. They are the same shade of green as the pear salad/dessert plates. I love the way the leaf plate frames out the place setting! A brown charger plate with embossed autumn leaves on the rim completes the place setting.

I love how the green, white, and brown colors of the place setting look together!

I layered two dinner napkins. The gold napkin matches the table runner and has the same white vines embroidered on it. The green and tan plaid napkin brings more of an informal feel to the place setting! A wood napkin ring with embossed autumn leaves pairs nicely with the charger plate.

*Warmest Autumn Wishes...
Would I even remember a post from last week, let alone last fall??!! You make me laugh--'cuz pretty is pretty no matter when you put it together!
ReplyDeleteThe cold front blew through while I was out mowing the LAST of the weeds in the pasture. Everything else is brown around here. Of course that might have something to do with the fact that I didn't water for one whole week because I was just tired of it! So now I'm trying to rescue the lawn. It never ends. I keep thinking about retiring...hmmm. Maybe sooner than later. Take care and you post or repost and let me enjoy it all.;D ♥♫
Linda mesa! A decoração está maravilhosa!
ReplyDeleteQuerida tenha uma semana abençoada.

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting our blog and leaving your comment. This tablescape is gorgeous. I love those pear plates because we have a pear tree in our yard. Really like how you used the 3 tiered cake plates as your centerpiece. I have something similar, but I hadn't thought to use it in my fall decorating. But I will now that I've seen yours.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful table...now that says Fall for sure...love it!!!
ReplyDeleteChari, girl I love your table full of pears, my grandmother had a pear tree. I remember as a child having to pick them up to make pear honey.. thank you for reminding me of a fond childhood memory. Love the big acorn at the base of your beautiful centerpiece. Now, girl... we need to get serious.. the lamp on your buffet "stole" my heart.. girl I have lamp envy going on here...
