Hello my friends...I hope you're having a fabulous Friday!
*
Ohhh my goodness...it has been a crazy...busy...summer! I have hardly had time to catch my breath but I had a couple of hours today so thought I would share a few photos with you of my frenchy studio office...especially since I have the desk cleared off now! Hehe! I hope that you enjoy!!!
*
My Frenchy Studio/Office...
*
Here we are in my frenchy studio office.
*
Thought I would give you a little tour around my desk...especially since it's cleaned off at the present. I have to tell you...my little desk area is seldom sooo clean! Hehe! My frenchy studio seems to be "catch all"....for all kinds of goodies.
*
The photos are pretty self-explanatory...so I will try and keep my notes at a minimum.
*
*
Come on in...and have a little look around!
*
*
My desk "hosts" a few of my favorite things!
*
Old Iron Garden Gate/ Memo Board
*
An old, rusty iron gate hangs on the wall behind the desk. It works perfectly for a "memo board" so to speak. I have a few of my "favorite things" hanging on this old ornate garden gate! All of the old gate latches are still intact on this gate...I just love it!!!

and

my little french girl bust!

A pretty french vignette for the left-hand side of my desk.
*
*
This beautiful french chandelier lamp was created "just for moi" by a dear, sweet friend!
It's just perfect for the desk in my frenchy studio!
**
*
Yes...that is our wedding photo. Honey and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary in June!
*
To the right of our wedding photo...you will see one of my favorite little cherubs! I truly love all sweet cherubs! This little guy is holding a leaf in his hands...and a sweet little bird is taking rest on the edge of the leaf.
*
*
Oooh...just look at all of the treasures on the leaf!
*
A few pieces of vintage jewelry...pearls and rhinestone pendants.
*
*
*
*
*
This gorgeous perfume bottle was a gift from the dear lady who made my chandelier lamp. It's tiny and soooo very delicate!
*
The beautiful butterfly is a gift from Laurie...our dear hostess for "A Few of My Favorite Things" party! The butterfly opens up...it's a little container. I just love all the different colored rhinestones on the butterfly's wings...sooo very pretty and precious! Thank you, dear Laurie...this little butterfly is truly one of my "favorite" things!!!
*
*
*
*
*
A tarnished, old silver tray holds one of my favorite photo books...another gift from a sweet friend!
*
Another vintage piece of jewelry is sitting soooo perfectly atop the book. I love vintage pendants...this particular piece belonged to my dear, late mother-in-law!
*
*
"Amazing Grace"
How Sweet the Sound
How Sweet the Sound
*
This tiny framed picture..."Amazing Grace"...sat on my grandmother's dresser. I treasure it with all of my heart!!! Amazing Grace was one of my Grandma's favorite hymns. I have always aspired to be like my grandma...who was the sweetest and kindest person that I have ever known! She loved the Lord with all of her heart. I don't think I ever heard one bad thing ever come from my Grandma's mouth...she was truly a saint! I miss her terribly but I know that I will see her again...because of God's amazing grace!!!
**
**
*
Well dear friends...I hope you enjoyed the little tour around the desk in my french studio! Hopefully I will be able to share more of my french studio next week...so stay tuned! Hehe!
*
*
I am joining these fabulous parties...

ReplyDeleteYour gate looks ever so much cuter than mine does leaning on the side of the house outside. Perhaps I'll have to think about cleaning off the cotton fuzz from the trees and bring it inside. I love visiting and seeing your treasures and the pretty way you put everything together! ♥♫

ReplyDeleteOoohhh there are so many pretties on your desk! The french girl bust...love...the cherub candelabra...love! Did Laura make that for you? The garden gate...love! (I bought one like it because I loved yours so much *winks*) My Grandmother also adored Amazing Grace. She was our church organist for 50 years. I adored her so I can imagine just how precious that gift from your Gramdmother must be.
Well girlfriend I really enjoyed seeing your creative space. I hope the sun is shining on you two (not too intensely *winks*) Vanna
