Hello my friends...I hope you're having a fabulous day!
*
Ohhh my gosh...it has been crazy-busy at my place lately! Between quests and summer trips, I haven't had much time to spend on my blog. I have missed all of you, dear friends...hopefully I will be able to do a little catching up this week!
*
Today I thought I would share a quick little post for the Table Top Tuesday and Open House Thursday parties this week. Eeeks...I'm even running late for Table Top Tuesday! I'll be just slidin' in by the seat of my britches...hehe! I know that many of you have seen my summer dining room but I took these photos a week ago and thought I would go ahead and share them today. I hope that you enjoy!

A Summer Bouquet
*
*
Here we are in my french country dining room.
*
A couple of weeks ago, my sister and brother-in-law from Texas came for a visit. I wanted to make a pretty dining room table centerpiece that we could enjoy while dining. I found this beautiful bouquet of apple green and white colored mums at the market and thought they would be perfect! A frenchy looking...white ironstone pitcher...holds the fresh flower bouquet.
*
*
As you can see...I have used shades of white and apple green for my dining room's summer decor.
*
Green Apples...Green Apples...and More Green Apples
*
A large cloche filled with green apples decorates the summer buffet (in the background). I carried the same green apple theme over to the table. A large green leaf platter along with a trio of green apples join the fresh flower bouquet for a summery table centerpiece.
*
I think green apples just "sing of summer"...don't you?
*

*
I love the big white crysanthemums and the little apple green colored mums too!
*
*
*
*
*
I really am loving this bright shade of green and white against the red wall color!
*
*
*
*
*
Well my friends...I hope that you enjoyed my fresh flower summery bouquet!
*
*
I am joining these fabulous parties...
*
*
*
Thank you dear ladies, for hosting these sweet parties for us!

Warmest Summery Wishes!
Oh Chari, this is so simply, but so elegant looking. I love it. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteThese flowers are gorgeous! The centerpiece you created looks so bright and refreshing.
ReplyDeleteHope you're doing well my friend! We cannot seem to escape this horrid heat...triple digits daily still.

The beautiful green in the apples and your flowers go great together! You combine colors beautifully every time! Happy summer to you, my friend! ♥
ReplyDeleteChari, looks so refreshing..

I love those white 'spider' mums. Mums remind me of Fall, and I'm so wishing it would hurry up. It has been hot, and it seems to really be bothering me this summer. It could be that I'm in my second week of driving every day the grandkids to Pueblo for some art classes at the college. Next week, I'll hibernate! Hope you are standing the weather o.k. Sally
ReplyDeleteHi Chari! This is so beautiful! I too love that limey green and white with your red walls! You always do it right!

Green flowers are so unusual to see! Yours look so cool. I need something to cool ME off now. ♥♫
ReplyDeleteChari,
ReplyDeleteI adore green and white color combinations in anything...the two compliment and contrast each other nicely!!! Throw in some black to ground the scheme and I'm swooning! Lovely!
Fondly,
Pat
I love the green and white combination of your flower bouquet. It's one of my favourite combinations.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colors my friend. They are especially stunning against the wall color! I think the white mums look so frilly.

The white crys. & green mums in the gorgeous white vase is fabulous...and yes, the green apples DO scream of summer...so crisp and fresh. YUM!!! They're PERFECT for summer tablescaping!!!! My older daughter just got a bag of them today so maybe I'll try something with them soon--unless they get gobbled up by all my kids before!!!
ReplyDeleteLove/hugs/blessings,
Lana
PS I hope that you, please, get a chance to stop by my blog and leave a comment to enter my first giveaway!!!

ReplyDeleteHi Chari,
ReplyDeleteOh you make those mums look good enough to eat with your beautiful photos and great decorating skills!
Geez girlfriend, I know just how you feel!
Summer is flying by and blogging sometimes has to take a back seat.
We always have those long winters to catch up!
As you know, I am anxiously waiting the birth of that grandbaby girl.
I am so excited and just wish I could be there right now.
Dan and I are heading out on August 9th and spending a week, can't wait.
Other than that, just babysitting and and trying to keep my head above a water! hehe.
Addison has way more energy than me!
I will let you know when baby is born!
Big Hugs friend,
Cindy

Loving the apple-green! You are right, it is a colour that just pops and seems so summery! (very much into that colour right now) It looks great with the white and also the red of your walls!

Chari, I love your choice of flowers and fruit. They look so beautiful together on top of that pretty table runner. The whole look is very easy on the eyes.
