Hello my friends...I hope you're having a fabulous day!
*
It has been a crazy weather week at my place. We have already experienced some really beautiful warm, sunny days...and then it turned cold again! That's the month of May for you in Colorful Colorado. I'm sooo yearning for warmer weather!

Today I thought I would share with you a tea that I set last August...called "A Summer's Tea on the Veranda". Some of you may remember this tea table...I hope you don't mind seeing it again to terribly much. For those of you who haven't seen this summer's tea...I hope that you enjoy!!!

I am soooo enjoying my new cottage blue table! Isn't it just the prettiest shade of blue that you've ever seen? Honey and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary in June...this table was an anniversary gift to ourselves!

I found this beautiful teapot at TJ Maxx a few months ago...it was only $9.99! I just love the beautiful embossed roses on the side of the teapot...so delicate looking!
*
*The teapot is sitting on one of my lacy, metal charger plates. The pretty little pink and lavender roses that are sitting around the teapot are actually soap flake petals! I found them at the Dollar Tree...a box of nine roses for just $1! Ohhh...they smell sooo good!!! I have used these pretty roses in several of my vignettes but they are just fabulous to float in a bath!

*I also layered the tea napkins. I used a white cotton napkin with lace edging (from the Shabby Chic line at Targets) and a pretty vintage handkerchief. This beautiful handkerchief belonged to my dear sweet Grandma! I just love the soft pastel colors and the scalloped edge...sooo pretty!!! I think the pretty vintage handkerchiefs work perfectly for a tea...don't you? A silver teapot napkin ring holds the napkins!

This is so lovely! The teacups under the cloche are my favorite part, but I really just think the whole setting against that blue table is so inviting.
Hi Chari,
What a lovely tea! I LOVE your pretty white teapot and what a bargain! Your tea cups are so pretty and your pearl candleholders are absolutely gorgeous! Your grandmother's hanky and little blue lady are so sweet too. You certainly know how to set a charming table. Thanks for sharing and for joining me for tea, my friend. Everything is just lovely!
Blessings,
Sandi
Your tea is beautiful Chari.
We are experiencing similar weather in Missouri. We've even had to turn the heat on again!
Hi Chari.
It all looks so lovely! Love all your pretty details. I, too am anxiously waiting for it to warm up here so I can enjoy outdoor teas again.
Carolyn
Oh my Chari, you know how much I love this. The hurricanes are stunning and of course the cloche has my heart going pitty pat. I love the teapot and your entire patio area is so inviting. You do set the most wonderfully inviting spaces. Wish I was there. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty

Oh how lovely and so romantic! Beautifully put together, Chari. I gather you are starting to have good weather and I am so happy for you....Christine
Char,
You just make it all look so easy, like you just sat all that down there. But each treasure is so interesting to look at the way you display things. I can even feel the warm sunshine in your photos.

Hi Chari, Love your blues! Really stunning. What a lovely day you had last summer for tea outside. Your napkins are pretty and I like the tea cup you purchased yourself. Stunning decor, as always, my dear friend!
God bless, Beth
I enjoyed every minute...and will go back now and look at your photos again! I always see things that I missed the first time through...you always think of every detail! Love your linens and the wonderful natural light of the outdoors! ♥
Your tea table is lovely, pretty teacup and linens. And, I do love the blue table you bought, you're sure to have many nice teas on it.
Lovely, Chari. i remember this post. I bet you are yearning for some of that warm weather, or maybe it'st here already! Hope you are off to a great week!
Your birthday teacup is precious. I like how you have used hankies with the napkins. That's an idea I think I will "borrow" in the future.
The stack of teacups look so pretty in the cloche.

Hello Chari,
beautiful beautiful! So many nice things, but I love best the wonderful teapot! Or the pretty tea cup? Or the soap roses? I really don't know, all is so charming. Thank you for sharing your treasures.
Best greetings, Johanna
Good Morning Chari,
OMG Girl, I so love that!
You sure know how to create a beautiful table and vignette! The colors, the pearls, the setting, so so pretty!
I remember this but it's worth repeating again and again! Should be in a magazine!
I just read your note and I am so sorry about the situation with Russ's kids. I bet that is going to be very hard on him.
Tell him we are thinking of him.
We have a graduation Friday night, a wedding Saturday night so things are definately busy!
Are temps are warming up a bit but still we are so behind. We should have lilacs by now and not just little buds.
Big Hugs and know were thinking of you two!
Cindy
