I love fairy tales...and the story of Cinderella is one of my favorites! Ohhh...and I love autumn too! Soooo...when I received these sweet little Cinderella sweater pumpkins as a gift from my sweet friend Mary...I just swooned!!! I mean...could it get any sweeter? Pretty little pumpkins that belonged to Cinderella!!!
*
Mary explains the story of the Cinderella sweater pumpkins over at her place...Mary's Meanderings blog. If you haven't ever met Mary or visited her delightful blog...you are really missing out on a treat! Mary is one of the dearest and sweetest ladies that you could ever hope to meet and she is such a creative and talented lady as well! Mary makes these adorable little Cinderella sweater pumpkins...you can check them out over at her blog...and she has them for sale!

Cinderella Sweater Pumpkins...
*
You remember the story of Cinderella...don't you?
*
Cinderella wanted to go to the Ball...where she would meet her Prince Charming...and dance the night away. But first, she would need the proper attire and a way to get to the Ball. Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, who was certainly a "God-send" if you ask me, arrived on the scene and with one quick wave of her magic wand...outfitted Cinderella in the most gorgeous Ball gown and she also created a very fine coach out of a little pumpkin to take Cinderella to the Ball. There was only "one catch" to the magic! The magic would turn back to reality...at midnight! Ohhh my!
*
Cinderella stepped into the lovely pumpkin coach...dressed in that gorgeous, one-of-a-kind Ball gown! It was a chilly evening so Fairy Godmother waved her wand and whoooosssh...Cinderella now had the most beautiful knitted shawl to drape over her shoulders for warmth. Upon arrival at the castle...Cinderella took the knitted shawl off of her shoulders and placed it on the seat of the coach...after all, she wanted everyone to see that gorgeous Ball gown!
*
Well...you know how the rest of the story goes. The clock struck midnight and whoooosssh... Cinderella's beautiful coach turned back into a pumpkin...
*
and...lo and behold...there they were...SWEATER PUMPKINS!
*
Somehow the magic was confounded...and the coach that was magically created from a pumpkin...and Cinderella's beautiful sweater shawl that was laying upon the seat of the coach...were all magically meshed together...into one!
*
Ohhh my...and the most beautiful sweater pumpkins that you have ever seen...were just sitting there on the ground...why there was an entire pumpkin patch full of sweater pumpkins! They really are the most beautiful, magical, little pumpkins that you have ever seen!!!
*
*
My three, magical, Cinderella sweater pumpkins have been added to a vignette in my bedroom!

  7. Chari- your Cinderella Story is so much better than my little explanation of these sweater pumpkins!! I might have to steal it!!

I am so glad you are enjoying your little cuties!! you do such a wonderful job displaying everything and these little guys look just perfect in your home!

Thanks for the shout out on my pumpkins!! It has been fun making them- they each have their own little personality!

I had to wear my silky thermal bottoms for the first time yesterday as it was getting so chilly! Of course my DH thinks it's so silly as my body had about a 3 degree variance before it is terribly hot or freezing cold!!

I love YOUR version of the Cinderella story... and the darling pumpkins look so at home in your vignette! Just perfect for fall!
Thanks for pointing me over to Mary's blog.
I think my very favorite pumpkin is the darker nubby one. It is so adorable!
And I think they would look great on a sofa with pillows too.
