Here Comes Peter Cottontail....

*

*
Hello my friends...I hope that you're having a great day!
*
It's been busy at my place...I'm still trying to get "caught up" from our trip to Las Vegas and I have a serious case of "Spring Fever". We really have been having beautiful weather lately...I think that Spring has finally made it to Colorful Colorado!!! I was able to get outside Sunday and get our patio cleaned off. I'm hoping to take my morning coffee out there soon!!! Anyway, I haven't had much time to play in the house but I really wanted to join in with Marty's Table Top Tuesday party so I quick and took a few photos of one of my newest treasure finds...Peter Rabbit!!!
*
Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

*
This area is in my kitchen. I just love my old enamel topped table! As you can see...it's pretty "chippy"...just the way I like it! I rescued this old table from outside when I first came to my honey's home! It now has a warm, comfortable home in our kitchen!
*

*
I have had so much fun decorating this little table!
*
Right now an old copper boiler pot filled with a basket of ivy...sits in the background. Honey bought this old copper pot from an outdoor flea market several years ago...just for little ol' me.
*
I also have a lamp, that I found at Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago, on the table. Love the bronze finish...I think the color coordinates nicely with the copper pot...and I love the lamp shade! The fabric shade is black on the outside with a pretty animal print on the inside. My rooster tassel that I won in a giveaway over at Susan's Between Naps on the Porch...decorates the lamp ever so sweetly!
*
A large Italian gold pitcher and platter...and a decorative wine box sits in a black wooden tray.
*
and...
*
Guess who has come to visit on this old enamel table top vignette?
*

*
It's Peter Cottontail!!!
*
I just found this sweet rabbit at TJ Maxx. It was love at first sight!!! I looked at him...and he looked at me...and then he jumped right into my basket! Hehe! He's stands at a stately 19 in. tall. He was only $14.99...I love bunnies!!!
*

*
Peter Cottontail insisted that I get a photo of his long coat-tails! He's so proud of his fancy coat!
*

*
Love the detail of Peter's long coat-tails!
*

*
How could I resist such a cute face?
*

*
Peter seems to be right at home on top of my old enamel top table!

I am hoping there will be another better option. I will pray so that the right decision will be made, Chari. It was so good to see you again! Thanks for coming by....Christine

  18. Hi Chari,
I just got to go read your wonderful Vegas post and start to get caught up on all the others. See my dear, I just got out of the hospital tonight. I had emergency surgery on my very infected gall bladder. I went in Thursday morning with a temp of 102 and so much pain. I am still so weak but I will be coming back over soon to chat my friend. Big Hugs, Miss ya, Cindy

Looks like you and Gloria had a great ol time! I got to meet another one of my blogging buddies this weekend too. It is so fun and makes the world so much smaller with all the lovely ladies I have met via the net!

How have you been feeling after your trip- hope it wasn't too much for you. With the weather changing I am getting a bit more energy which is such a blessing!! Got some little seeds planted today- still have weeks before they can be planted so hope I am not too late!! Also have been doing a bit of organization with my linens, craft stuff etc. Also have started cleaning out my detached sunroom so I can fix that up hopefully soon. I think I am putting off figuring out what to do with that dining room! I am so ADD!! COME HELP!!!

    Have a great week friend!!

  23. As always, this is wonderful, dear Chari! I love that chippy table, your new TALL bunny, the copper tub, the vivid yellow/golden pitcher (I'm all about yellow this week with my tablescape) and even that wonderful tassel I see there is gorgeous!!!
Your attention to detail is fantastic and you just style it all so well/mixing and matching elements that once you put them together seem as if they were always meant to be sharing time together!
    GORGEOUS!!!
I pray that you had a blessed Easter and that it's warmer for you now! I'm SO THANKFUL that it's finally warmer here--I still can't fathom all the snow we had here IN ALABAMA in February/March!
    Hugs/blessings, Lana
