Hello my friends!

Welcome to the 48th run of "Sunday Favorites"!!!

I hope that you are all having a fabulous weekend! Wow...yesterday was the first day of Spring! Of course, you wouldn't know that here at my place...we were under "winter storm warnings"...it snowed Thursday night and all day yesterday! Can you believe that? I really do have a bad case of "spring fever"! However, since I have been stuck in the house, I have been getting a little "spring cleaning" done! Yay!!!
*
Spring cleaning reminded me of a post that I done about this time last year. It talks about a different kind of cleaning house! Hope you enjoy!
*
Well my friends...have a super Sunday! Thank you so much for coming by today!

Sunday Grace...

Spring...A Time of Renewal!
*
Hello my friends! I hope that you're having a super Sunday!!!
*
The Bible says, "To every thing there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven..." (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
*
Friday was the first day of Spring. Ahhh....Spring!!!
*
A time of renewal, rebirth, and new beginnings!
*
As a homemaker, the season brings about an urgency to do a little "Spring Cleaning". It's time to open the windows and air everything out...to do some much needed deep, deep cleaning. To me, it's like getting a fresh start! It takes some time and some hard work but when I'm finished...I feel soooo good! It's a great feeling to know that I've gotten rid of the dust and dirt and that my house has been "set straight" once again! There's just not a better feeling then having my house fresh, clean, and all sparkley!
*
Well almost...there is just one thing that makes me feel better!
*
I think my heart is like a house!

"Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from thy presence;
and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation,
and uphold me with thy free spirit."

Psalm 51:10-12

*******

Have a super Sunday, my friends!

Those crocuses are GORGEOUS! I always MEAN to plant crocus bulbs, but somehow never get it done.

I AM FIRST in line for Sunday Favorites again today - - - it's been a LONG time since I was last first.

Hehehehehehehe last first - - - sounds like I made a mistake, but it is EXACTLY what I meant to say.

Beautiful Crocuses! I am so ready for Spring! We have had a week of beautiful temps of high 60's. And now we are supposed to get a snow storm in the next 72 hours! Argh!

But, we did take advantage of the pretty sunny days last week and spent most of the day we spent at the parks and having picnics. So, now I REALLY have Spring fever! LOL

Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Diann :)

Hello Chari! Sorry about all your snow! I got to work out in the yard today! But here in Memphis you never know! We've had some of our worst snows after the azaleas start to bloom! Thank you for sharing your wonderful post! The scripture you picked was perfect! And those crocuses were absolutely beautiful! God Bless! Lauralu :)

Hi Chari,
Thanks so much for hosting every week. It's fun to revisit older posts, and to learn more about some of my favorite bloggers by seeing things I might have missed before.
Thanks also for the words of inspiration. I'm in the middle of "spring cleaning", of my home and myself. Still trying to be the best I can be every day, some days it's easier than others!!
Opening up the windows and letting in the clean breezes always makes me feel great - renewed and ready to take on the world!
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Hello, sweet one,
This is my first time to play along in your adorable meme..I am excited. It was fun to go thru and pick one of my favorite posts from the past. Thanks for offering this pleasure to us.

Ahh, the crocuses are so pretty.
It snowed here this morning and has been cold all day. I never could get really warm. Our county out here surely can use the moisture, tho, so we are thankful.
Have a blessed week...

Chari, I enjoyed your repost.

Hey, if you have time will you remind me how you actually do the repost? For the life of me I can't figure it out and I've done it before! Do you just copy and paste everything in HTML? My problem may be that my computer has crashed in the time since my post originally was published. I don't know. :)

Ahhhhhhh housework - something that keeps going farther down on my list the older I get. Not because I'm getting dirtier - but because it takes so much longer to do everything. Spring cleaning would now probably be finished around August. LOL
Your Crocuses are beautiful! What a gorgeous picture of them!!!

We had some gorgeous days last week and then yesterday, the first day of spring, we had cold rain & snow! Yuck ~ Today those north winds are bitterly cold. What happened??? :-)

Love your spring flowers! Have a beautiful Sunday my friend.

Hello dear Chari, Thanks for your inspiration from the Bible. It is so great to know the Lord personally.
Hope your spring comes soon! We are all anxious for warm weather and flowers too (instead of snow blowers, parkas and gloves!)
God bless, Beth

Hi Chari -- Oh what a beautiful picture of your crocuses! I have been too lazy to take pictures of ours, but I really should.

Thanks for your lovely comments today -- Dion says Thanks for the birthday wishes. Can you believe that at age 11 he has just been invited to be a Daddy? We are going to have to think about this adventure!

A litter of little Dions. Boggles the mind!

Have a wonderful Monday. Your Sunday post was wonderful -- I sang "Create in me ..." to myself as I read. Lovely.

I am a cleaning machine this last while...I also have been painting things in the garage, and planting things in my greenhouse...good thing I don't need a lot of sleep to survive...or I'd be one cranky tootsie!
