It has been a busy week at my place...besides the normal daily schedule,
I have been trying to get a some spring cleaning done so that I could do a
little spring decorating!

*
I started the spring fluffing in my dining room. As many of you know,
I have a red French Country style dining room. I love my red walls, however
it is sometimes a challenge to "lighten" things up for the spring and summer season.
This year I decided to use as much white as possible and add a little "Spring Green"
into the mix...you know, that pretty yellow-green color! It's so light and fresh...
just what I want!

I wanted to do a spring tablescape to go with the new spring decor...my very
first spring tablescape of the season!

I have incorporated the same white and green color scheme from the dining

am using is a white lacy table runner...that's it! Fresh and simple!

White and spring green dishes! I am using a dinner plate, fruit
bowl, bread and butter plate, and a cup and saucer from my set of green
transferware ironstone. This pretty pattern is called Kensington Staffordshire
Balmoral 1801. I just love this set of dishes...I found a 32 piece set on Ebay
for just $10 (plus shipping)! Quite a bargain!!! I am also using a salad
plate from my set of white ironstone dishes along with a lacy
metal charger plate.

The bunnies are OH SO sweet! I love bunnies and mice! And I love red walls! The white and pretty greens work perfect against the red walls. I especially love the pedestal plate and the white metal chargers. I'm going to have to think about a buffet for this house. I don't have a china cabinet or even a fireplace mantle to decorate in our Florida home so where am I going to put my seasonal decorations? EEEE!!! Love your ideas! ♥
ReplyDeleteBonjour Chari,
ReplyDeleteSo pretty as usual. The soft green dish pattern is perfect for Spring. And ofcourse, the sweet bunnies. We've had lots of beautiful sunshine here this week, hope you're having some too.
Would it be okay to send you an email? I wanted to 'talk' to you about something.
Good evening to you,
Mimi
Chari, I just adore your buffet. I too love that beautiful spring color. I really want to add some of that to my house. I'm on the hunt for fabric for pillows. All of your bunnies are displayed so pretty. Your tablescape is just gorgeous. I love your green transferware. It is just stunning. You do really know how to set a beautiful table. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning Chari! I just adore this color combo! I love the pitchers, especially that grape one and the china is perfect for this table! I am amazed at how you always manage to create such lovely tables! Honestly, they are works of art! I think I need some of that green, it's a great spring color! Hugs, Cindy
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Chari! I love the way the white and apple green pop against the red walls, just perfect. And your table just looks so light and fresh. I can't believe the bargain you got on that dinnerware, what a find! I'm always hesitant to by anything glass on E-bay, but I would have had to trust the UPS man for this kind of deal. Hope you are having a wonderful week and enjoying some spring weather. Kathy
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful! I just love those dishes. I need some green and white. I don't have any.
ReplyDeleteWin Rachael Ray bake ware at my blog.
Thanks!
Sherry
Loving that green transferware. You sure got a bargain. I've been off ebay for awhile, but you sure make it tempting!
ReplyDelete- The Tablescaper
Oh Chari, What a great job you've done! I just love your white dining room table, Chari! The chargers are beautiful, and the transferware, oh my! Fabulous! You've accessorized with a bit of whimsy with your bunnies and mice and birds too. Looks great! I always enjoy visiting your blog; it's awesome and I love "talking" back and forth - you leave such sincere, sweet compliments.
ReplyDeleteI have learned a great deal about tablescaping by what you do, what Bill does, and also Susan and Wanda Lee. I so appreciate learning and experimenting myself...and I've even begun thrifting so will share some of those treasures in the future. Great job, Chari!
Hugs, ~ Beth
I really love your white and green
ReplyDeletetablescape, it is so clean and fresh looking. I just love white and that shade of green. Your green print dishes are so pretty. I particularly love that shade of green, it has grown on my over the years!
All that white definitely makes the room look whiter and more spring like. Just so pretty.
Love those lil birds too!
Blessings, Nellie
Hi Chari,Love your green Table...So Pretty
ReplyDeleteHAPPY ST.PATRICK'S DAY

Julie
Chari, this IS a light & airy tablescape. It's very refreshing with the white & green. I may have to "hop" on over and just sneak myself a bunny or two. LOL! Love it.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those green and white dishes! Your entire table looks beautiful. Everything looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteJane
Chari you are such an artist. What a beautiful fresh, spring table setting. I favor green and absolutely love the green transferware, and even sweeter with the deal you got! It has been a delight to visit your blog today!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors and I love the plates of your spring tablescape, Chari. So fresh!!...Christine
ReplyDeleteChari, what a beautiful tablescape you've created. I wasn't able to get one together this week, so I'm just looking and admiring others'.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't help but smile when I saw your table today because you and I have several of the same pieces. I have 3 or 4 of those green and white transferware plates, and I also have the larger of the white pitchers.
They really look stunning on your table. I just love the green and white that you've used together for Spring. Earlier this week, I enjoyed seeing it on your buffet, and now it looks equally beautiful on your table. Thank you for sharing such lovely inspiration with us, day by day.
What a beautiful table! I've come back to look at it more than once. I think after seeing those beautiful green transferware dishes that I've got another pattern to add to my "lust" list. Keep up whatever you are doing its just right!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great buy on the green and white dishes...they are wonderful! Love your bunnies and those gorgeous red walls.
ReplyDeleteChari it's all so fresh and pretty for Spring! I love the green and whites for this time of year. :)
ReplyDeleteChari!

Once again Chari I am in love with your tablescape and the whole look on your table. Also that buffet is so gorgeous. The magic you work on that piece of furniture never ceases to amaze me! You do the most creative little vignettes there...I always love seeing what you are up to! Keep them coming girl...you really know what you are doing....I think you do! Big smile.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Debbie
This is so so pretty...I LOVE that green. I'm thinking of adding a little of it to my living room in place of the reds. I love the warmth of the red for colder months and the greens for spring and summer.
ReplyDeleteYou really did a great job of adding all this white. It looks super good.
Lovely, simply lovely. I really love everything about your dining room. The walls, the dishes and those chargers! Thanks for sharing and posting.
ReplyDeleteLove it all Dear Chari! I think those little white birds are absolutely precious and such a simple addition:) Love the gorgeous dishes! Have a blessed day and thanks for sharing all of this beauty!
ReplyDeleteChari,
ReplyDeleteYour springy green table is so beautiful. I love the green transferware, they are some of my favorites! All the pieces on the table are so lacey looking and the details are just right.
Miss Bloomers/Sonia
You got that 32 piece set on Ebay for just $10???!!! Holy Moli, that's the bargain of the year, Chari! They are gorgeous!

ReplyDeletexoxo Pattie
Goodness! This is just lovely. I'm envious of those pretty dishes you found! I've found some pretties on eBay myself -- but how nice to find such a complete set! This all looks so pretty in your red dining room. I always love green and white and your's is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteChari, this table just sings too me! I don't have any transferware, but if I did, I would want it to be this patern...it is truly beautiful...and 10$!!! What a bargin! the scallop chargers are really spectacular too! You've got some great style-I love to see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteMichelle
Chari, what a stunningly beautiful table...love the soft green mixed in with the white...so pretty against the deep red background. Your buffet is lovely, too.

Love it all! You did a great job! The green and white has a clean, fresh look.
ReplyDeleteEverything is so beautiful! I haven't blogged for awhile, so I missed everyone.
ReplyDeleteThe green dishes are to die for, I love them!
Are you enjoying our beautiful Colorado weather (finally)! It's supposed to snow here tomorrow in the Denver area, Brr. I'm ready for SPRING!
Chari-- So pretty! Looks like spring fever has hit your house. And, of course, those transferware dishes are a favorite of mine. Guess we are really going to get hit with the snow this weekend. You can usually count on bad weather in Colorado during spring break. Mike is staying home this year, so I don't have to worry about his usual spring break travel. But, he really is going to Japan for the summer to work in an orchard during cherry picking season. Oh my, what next with that adventurer? Thank goodness he has a good teaching job with time off to indulge his first love of travel. Everything is going well here. My shoulder is healed and practically 100% again; but I'm still dealing with the asthma getting it under control. Now it is allergy season to add to the mix!! Hope you are well. Sally
ReplyDeleteThis is so fresh and cheerful! Your china is so pretty, and it looks wonderful mixed with all the white on white!
ReplyDeleteScribbler
Just beautiful. LOVE the green tranferware. Just gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteAll the white against the red is so striking! And the bright green really makes the whole thing POP! Well done!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spring setting! Love the spring green and white everywhere! Now, can you bring on spring for us?
ReplyDeleteChari,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for welcoming me to blogworld! I'm a little overwhelmed, but I hope I'll get into the swing of things. Your table and buffet are so pretty! I collect ironstone, so I love to see what others have. Have a great weekend!
Erin

ReplyDeleteChari...there is NEVER a disappointment when I visit you! You are just so good at posting and showing everything to such a wonderful advantage! The white is just stunning! I always call it "new leaf" green for some reason. Could be because of the paints I use.
