A lot of different places such as Hobby Builders Supply, Hobby Lobby, etc. - Where ever it was the cheapest. :) I started accumulating the minis in the late 70's, bought the house kit in the 80's, but did not put the house together until 90's. I was intimidated by it. :)
GlendaGlenda/MidSouthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10729065523048603563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8993564595448887939.post-89383780056188234852009-11-01T06:37:57.198-07:002009-11-01T06:37:57.198-07:00You have a wonderful collection of pink glass!! I have 4 "spooners" (I don't really know where that name came from- the lady at the store I bought them told me that's what they were)that I absolutely love. We make ice cream sundaes in them. Cracked me up that only your sis broke Grandma's dishes!
Heck, we never realize the value of things when we own them- it is only much later that we regret being careless with them. I could kick myself for some of the things I have done with my belongings! LOL
Have a great day. We had a fabulous time at the luncheon and boy did I have a surprise! Karen from Some Days are Diamonds drove all the way from LA, to join us! I also got to meet Linda T. who I knew in High School and hadn't seen in 30 years! It was such a great fabulous time and I so wish you could have been there too! When we flew out Wed. morning the plane was delayed from Msp because of the storms in the West. It looks like you really got hit with some major snow. Phoenix was only about 60 degrees and everyone was freezing here except Dan and I who thought it was beautiful weather. It warmed up to 82 today and tomorrow it will be mid eighties when we leave and only about 45 back in Wisc. Oh well, back to reality. I will talk to you more when I return.
